Who would ever guess, but like if folks have problem with battery life, then why not manufacture a slim chassis battery case?
The new iPad mini (A20 Pro) may have a 120Hz display but artificially locked at 60Hz.
The reason is quite simple. It uses an LTPS panel with no variable refresh rate, hence no ProMotion. If 120Hz was enabled, it would constantly run at 120Hz and drain battery.
Apple did not want to spend extra for an LTPO 120Hz panel, and this is the result.
Kinda crazy folks still want Disc most than digital… I & anyone will probably still wait for Limited run games, or other 3rd party offer alternatives to have Disc/cartridge, but cost would be $150-$200+ so as long as all data, bug fix, DLC, & etc is included seems reasonable!
Ngl was actually kinda funny, & I did chuckle a little reading the blog post of this new iPad Mini 8th Gen still has 128gb…
Ngl PlayStation getting full legitimacy PSOS in a true update handheld is dream come true if only Xbox did the same without windows integration involvement… Still waiting many exclusivity Xbox titles to come natively in a Windows platform I wonder?

Sony’s rumored PlayStation handheld could be the only mainstream handheld with a custom AMD RDNA 5 GPU, according to reports citing Digital Foundry and hardware insider KeplerL2.

• Custom AMD RDNA 5 graphics
• 24GB LPDDR5X RAM
• Hardware-accelerated ray tracing
• Dedicated PSSR upscaling
• PS4 and PS5 backward compatibility
• Just 15W power consumption
⚡ The catch? AMD reportedly wants massive lifetime orders for custom chips, potentially putting Steam Deck 2 and Microsoft's rumored Xbox handheld at a disadvantage.
If true, Sony could have a unique graphics advantage in the handheld market.
But can it deliver console-quality gaming on the go? 👀
Need more brands like Apple that release a device model for next 3-4 years cycle till a necessarily full cycle of fresh new specs! If Redmagic can’t in any of their Tablets, then why bother buying theirs if it’s gonna cost 2-3X for next rest till 2030???
Android folk bloated, Slop mention Redmagic sure as hell not worth investing unless Redmagic could offer:
•Longer OS/Security support+ better bug fix?
•Trade-in business
•Will their not be Astra 4 for next 2-4+ years?
•Will they offer better Apps that Apple don’t have?
💀 imagine if Apple did an Apple thing by having pro Motion/120HZ at 512gb variant… They just aren’t gonna mention it, till later or if not then another 3-4+ year to wait for one!

My take: WAY better screen, WAY better chip, so a very welcome refresh. Very curious to try this audio system. but also I can't find any mention of 120Hz or ProMotion on the website, so.... 60Hz?

Buddy iPad Mini won’t even get another new release till 2028 so 2 year Gap unless would be wild if 2.5-3 year gap release gonna potentially be 2029.
But yet again my argument gonna dismiss this logic side, & does have Pro Chip hoping come with 120hz?

It’s interesting their no Sweet spot for PC hardware yet unfortunately… Would be nice PC Handheld infrastructure equivalent at middle RTX 20-30 series, 120HZ VRR, 1080-1200p screen ratio, 32GB RAM/VRAM at 6400-7500MT/z around instead of overkill speed!
If a game is fully packaged, & doesn’t necessarily need to release another update for half decade till Switch 2 OLED/Pro, 3 release. Then it’s pretty worth buying kinda like buying multiple Blu ray, 4k disc accept all content is in single cartridge BTW!
The rumored cost for a 123GB Switch 2 cart (which is rumored to have been tested) is about $30 to publishers, which would mean if they were to use that they'd price their games on those cards well over $100. People wouldn't pay that.
Sure performative troll accounts on Twitter claim they will, but that's not enough for publishers to actually use those expensive cards. And then you'd have people throwing fits and calling Nintendo "anti-consumer" for physical games costing $120.
Will probably wait for @LimitedRunGames to release real physical copy hopefully has full game at 128gb variant knowing that it’s enough to have campaign, & any additional stuff later while offline! @Activision, @InfinityWard make it happen.
