WATCH: @drmoore says dismissing Trump's sexual abuse verdict has "devastating implications."
"Think about the teenage girl in a church somewhere who's being abused by her youth pastor. ... She hears not only that, but when the victim is ridiculed ... the response is laughter."

As someone who is still recovering from a gunshot to the head, I am heartbroken and infuriated that Ralph Yarl now faces a lifetime of recovery.
At 16 years old. For simply ringing a doorbell.
We cannot continue to be a nation defined by gun violence and injustice.

BREAKING: Senator John Fetterman will be back next week after undergoing treatment for depression. He will chair his first subcommittee hearing about protecting SNAP, fighting for PA’s farmers in the Farm Bill and more.
First, WELCOME BACK!!
Second, Republicans who are attacking him are attacking 1 in 5 Americans who are also currently fighting depression.
It takes a lot to admit your problems and get help. Fetterman has earned my respect for sure.

I learned 5-6 yrs ago why the phrase “black lives matter” is so damn important. To say black lives matter is not to say other lives “don’t” matter. It is to say black lives matter TOO. It is to say black lives ALSO matter. This needs to be said bcuz too often it’s not acted upon.

Don't reduce MLK to an annual quote on social media.
Embody the dream. Seek first the Kingdom of God. Confront evil. Be a truth-teller. Seek justice. Advocate for the poor. Pursue reconciliation. Love your neighbors. Forgive your enemies.
Live a life of peace, love, justice. 🙏🏼

Because race-based hate is alive and well in SC, nine innocent people aren’t. 💔
Seven years after they were murdered at Mother Emanuel on June 17, we’re still fighting for a Hate Crimes law and common sense gun reforms.

Fear, anger and sadness are not *negative* emotions to avoid, but *difficult* emotions to aim towards God in prayer, patiently reflect on, and share with trusted companions.
Spiritual wholeness is found in our willingness to integrate all of these realities in our life with God.

Anxiety is real. It can feel overwhelming and debilitating. In the midst of the worry and fear that comes along with anxiety, we are invited to cast our cares on Jesus and rest in His perfect love. Our anxiety may not change but it doesn't have to win.
