You can find the same receipts for every account that has a ridiculous Penn State/Franklin tweet like this
I’m tired of people saying how bad the talent is on this Penn State team as an excuse. It’s weak in some areas like D line and LB (minus Rojas) but think of all the guys they do have that are legitimate NFL caliber players:
Defense:
AC
Dixon
Rojas
Zayas
Offense:
Sowell
Howard (when healthy obviously)
Rap
Brahmer (why they refuse to use a 6’7 NFL TE is beyond my comprehension)
Goodman
Donkah
Riker (when at full health)
So half your starters on both sides are either going to be playing in the nfl or have clear paths to.
I understand that overall the depth isn’t there and the front 7 being overall so weak is a big issue.
But this staff does not play to its strengths on either side. This theory that this team is just hopelessly untalented so the staff gets a pass is a myth.
The coaching staff blows and they fail to properly utilize the strengths they do have.

This morning I was thinking about all the criticism that Rocco Becht is getting and it’s definitely justified but I will say the throws he made to Chase Sowell were still throws Drew Allar wouldn’t have even attempted. Sowell wasn’t really even open in a lot of his receptions and Allar woulda pissed down his leg if you asked him to make those passes against Michigan.
Sowell prob woulda had like 2 catches in that game if Allar was QB

Now you’re starting to understand.
In that game Saturday, Penn State wouldn’t have moved the ball past the 50 at any point if Drew was the QB.

Saw what Quinton Martin’s dad said. He’s not wrong. Everything he said was true, especially the part about how his son had 100 yards in his first opportunity vs Clemson then again in non conference this year.
It’s malpractice he’s gotten 2 carries the last 2 games. The most explosive RB we have, the guy that maybe could actually provide a spark the run game.
Thank goodness Carson Hansen gets 2 yards per carry.

“We wouldn't even be in the position where we're at right now to succeed in these football games if we didn't have Rocco Becht."
- Matt Campbell on QB play at Penn State
I’m trying so hard to be patient and not just want Matt Campbell gone now but wtf is this ? He’s singlehanded lost at least 2 games.
He stinks, there’s no reality where he’s any good at all.

A 5th year starting QB in the Big Ten shouldn’t get unlimited turnovers, batted balls, missed throws, etc because he’s a great leader or he’s kept us in games.
It’s insanity to keep trotting him out. Even more insane to not say we’re giving Manske an uptick in 1st team reps

If there’s one thing we can all take away from the Jalen Hurts blood clot situation, it’s that the NFL can’t keep playing these international games dude

.@CoachMC_PSU you see how this works?

“I’m unlucky. When I throw it directly to the other team, they catch it! When I scramble, I could gain 5 more yards, but I go down because I don’t want to keep going. Can you believe how unlucky that is?!”

It’s difficult to put into words how horrible this Penn State’s s season has been but the post game comments by Matt Campbell and Rocco Becht are just so bizarre and concerning.
MC goes on rants about how it’s not about winning it’s about having great “humans” that they super hard to do the right things
Rocco Becht single-handedly loses this Michigan with 3 boneheaded turnovers and blames it on being unlucky while Matt Campbell simultaneously says he’ll never ever considered benching Becht.

I’m pretty sure every coach that was legitimately linked to Penn State in the offseason now has a signature win.
Penn State will head into November without a win over a Power 4 school.

Breaking News: PSU QB Rocco Becht is the first player to be named the MVP for the opposing team.
Michigan HC Kyle Whittingham gave him the game ball post game and told Jenny Dell, “we couldn’t have done it without him”
