As always, the Mal de Mer Club thoroughly enjoyed our two matches against the Gunners and the Wanderers. Outplayed and outscored overall this year, but we’ll be back and looking to turn it around in ‘27. Have a great season guys! 👍

#ENGSUI Switzerland's manager is understandably anxious, because if they lose this match, the knives will be out. And the corkscrews. And the screwdrivers. And the nail-files. And the toothpicks. And the little pliers. And the wire-strippers. And the bottle-openers. And the sciss

The lateral movement of Georgia's players is quite extraordinary. No bulked up athletic robots, they can check and turn really easily, throw a feint, the lot.
Like watching something from another era, an era when ability and showing off skills was encouraged, not frowned upon at the altar of shape, discipline and mind numbing robotic possession.
Football's meant to be fun, right?
@MileforLyle Just the three (one for each PL goal so far) Happy to walk the other thirty to match the goals you’ll bang-in when you’re back Lyle 🤞
I think the last time I saw that was Ronaldinho - never thought he’d turn up in a Burnley shirt though. Delightful

They might just be yellow boxes on wheels, but where would we be without them?
The people who operate them are highly-skilled life savers too, and we are so grateful to all the paramedics and other ambulance staff out there
Please RT if you are too

Everything they are doing to the NHS they did to British Rail.
Underfunded it, exhausted the srvice, got the public angry and then said privatisation is the solution.
We cannot allow that to happen - RT if you agree

We really need to stop making it so hard for NHS staff to go to work
A huge number of NHS workers have to cope with inadequate public transport, insufficient and unsafe parking for cars and bikes, and exorbitant costs
Something needs to be done urgently - please RT if you agree

200 nationalities, one NHS.
Please share if you’re grateful to all the staff from all over the world who keep our our health service running.

If you love the NHS, please consider following us and retweeting this.
The NHS really needs your support right now, and the staff really need a morale boost.
Together, we can increase awareness of key issues and show staff how valued they still are.
Thanks for considering x

We are devastated to hear so many traumatised NHS staff saying that they will quit the NHS
We cannot afford to lose a single member of staff
We must look after NHS staff NOW or we risk losing them forever

If everyone who values the NHS follows and retweets we would reach a million by midnight and be much stronger together.

#HappybirthdayNHS! Seems the perfect day to plead your allegiance to pulling back our thriving, world class service and out of the hands who are determined to crush it. 74 years of incredible service. Thank you for all you have done. Please retweet. We really need your help.

The council would like to apologise to Mrs. Emily Thrust after her cat fell into a wood-pulping machine. We've tracked down 'Jingles' to the roped-off walkway in the park, and as a gesture of goodwill we shall present this fence-post to her in a special ceremony at the Town Hall.

My attitude to Boris Johnson is unchanged. An entitled, career liar who only got his hands on power because similarly entitled fools enabled his rise. He is wholly without honour and his only talent is self promotion. He should resign. But he has no integrity. So won't #Partygate
