Netflix product management should have thought of this scenario (existing customer, links to sky, wants to delink and pay directly to leave sky). I can’t believe I have to create a burner Netflix account just to have something to transfer profiles to and pay 1mo service
Hey @sainsburys thanks for whatever sponsorship deal you got to put beer (which isn’t a traditional ingredient anyway) into your Taste The Difference onion gravy. Way to go adding an allergen in to a product that shouldn’t have it and didn’t before.

VW Group Collects Vehicle Movement Data
The Chaos Computer Club (CCC) a well-known German Group of hackers reveals that the Volkswagen Group systematically collects movement data from hundreds of thousands of vehicles from the brands VW, Audi, Skoda, and Seat and stores it over long periods.
The data, including information about vehicle owners, was also accessible on the internet without protection.
Volkswagen gains insights into the everyday ‒ and particularly the non-everyday ‒ private lives of hundreds of thousands of vehicle owners through this movement data.
Sensitive data regarding intelligence and military activities were also collected: among other things, records were found from the parking garage of the Federal Intelligence Service (BND) and from the military airfield of the United States Air Force in Ramstein.
The information collected by VW subsidiary Cariad includes precise details about the location and time of the ignition shut-off. The movement data is linked to other personal data, allowing for conclusions about suppliers, service providers, employees, or cover organizations of security authorities.
"The problem is that this data is collected at all and stored over such a long period. That it was also poorly protected just adds insult to injury," said Linus Neumann, spokesperson for the Chaos Computer Club.
VW Group proved their incompetence with regards to vehicle data and everything people accused Tesla of seems to happen at VW Group.
The findings were presented last, Friday, at the 38th Chaos Communication Congress (38C3) in Hamburg. The lecture can be followed in a live stream starting at 22:05 and will subsequently be made available at media.ccc.de.

My photo kissing a nuclear waste cask went viral and people had… opinions about it.
There was outrage, with many claiming it was dangerous and that I was hurting my future children (lol).
Here’s why kissing a nuclear waste cask is actually fine🧵

Madrid’s metro was 71 miles long in 1995. That would be the world’s 51st longest today, reasonable considering Madrid is the 57th largest city by population.
Yet over 12 years, the metro would ~3x in length at costs much lower than was thought possible. Here’s how they did it🧵
More Kafka-esque behavior from @British_Airways claims system. All interaction with it is via email, so if they fail to send you an email, there’s no way to get any information on the claim even via the Gold customer service team. Website just says “check your email”. 🤦♂️

I voted for Kamala. It was my pleasure to vote for her as my senator (I’m from San Francisco) and my vice president. Casting my vote for her (despite it not mattering given my voting district) was so proud for me… I’m anti-Trump but also pro-Kamala.

Putin wants Trump to win. There's no serious debate about that. Does Putin want America to be weak or strong? There's no serious debate about that either.
Why would you vote for the candidate Putin wants you to vote for?
