Gonna sound like a homer. But, I’m so confused by these reviews… The Home Screen is built for your usual scrolling pleasure, all apps not already optimized, will be. The large screen is built for full video, dual app productivity. The entire purpose of this phone is to have both an iPhone and a work horse within a small firm factor. Who tf tweeting on the large screen? Like why? I don’t doubt it can be improved, but I’m so baffled by how ppl are trying to use this machine.

Being a solo GP means every "no" from an LP lands on you. There's no partner to split the rejection with. But every "yes" is a bet on you too. Your thesis, your work, your judgment. I'll take that trade every time.

Biggest lesson from LP diligence this month: simple beats clever. Every "clever" structure I thought was investor friendly turned into a question, a footnote and a call with counsel. Clean economics. Clear definitions. The GP gets paid after LPs do. That's what builds trust.

Nobody tells you the hardest part of being a solo GP isn't finding deals. It's that every LP question about "key person risk" is really a question about you. Your judgment, your bandwidth, your health. So you build like a 20 person firm: real admin, real audit, real governance. Not because anyone requires it. Because it's the only honest answer.
