Just saw a @neonmanagement 'Ibiza Final Boss is going on Tour!' post, and if he's not DJing under the show name of 'Friar Fucks' Monastery of Sound' I'll be heavily disappointed.
Hey, @grok , who was the most famous person to visit my profile? It doesn't need to be a mutual, don't tag them, just say who it was and whether we could end-up being soulmates.
SAF's legacy was never taking unknowns and turning them into greats. He wasn't an archetypal 'coach'.
He instilled winning mentalities into already-talented players and made them the best.
Tactics, scouting... not really his bag. But he was still the best ever at what he did.
I've had a football theory for a while...
That although Sir Alex Ferguson was a brilliant motivator, man manager and club totem...
By the end of his reign, his talent recognition for players not yet established (although no doubt somewhat affected by Glazernomics) wasn't what it was.
From the summer of 2008 onwards, fresh off winning the Champions League, these were the players aged 25 or under that Ferguson signed permanently:
-Zoran Tosic
-Ritchie De Laet
-Antonio Valencia
-Mame Diouf
-Gabriel Obertan
-Bebe
-Chris Smalling
-Chicharito
-Anders Lindegaard
-David De Gea
-Phil Jones
-Frederic Veseli
-Shinji Kagawa
-Nick Powell
-Angelo Henriquez
-Alex Buttner
-Wilf Zaha
With the obvious exceptions of Antonio Valencia, Chicharito and David De Gea...
That's not a great hit rate!
Everyone suddenly interested in Bodo/Glimt now, eh?
My years of 'they're a great club, everyone should like them as much as me' don't look so stupid now, do they? :P
🚨 SURPRISE, SURPRISE🚨
Aboubakar Sylla to Southampton - it's official!
Schalke centre-back is joining Bournemouth from Strasbourg for £10m + £2m in clauses. It is understood that Moussa Sylla will join Schalke on loan as a sweetener for the deal.
[source: fuck knows]
Regardless of what side of Politics you're on, surely I can't be the only one that's a little bit concerned that a proxy US president spends all day on twitter spouting propaganda about the UK government?
Is this the autonomy we all apparently wanted from Brexit? 🤷♂️
I heard England were struggling for an attacking in-form left winger as everyone wants to play central or on the right?
Current England side if it was only Man City academy graduates.
Central midfield a bit weak, but it's still kind of astounding the work they've done with their youth set-up.
Not to mention Olise, Brahim Diaz, Lavia et al.
Nearly broke down in tears at not managing to get to my computer in time to change my FPL side.
Haaland, sir. Never change.
United, Arsenal and City all in transition.
Spurs a bit too green.
Chelsea 'doing a Chelsea'
Absolute perfect storm. Fair play to Leicester though, of course, but yeah... everyone else *was* pretty dire.
Normally completely avoid the whole field of Ronaldo/Messi on here, but it's worth noting that Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 400 career goals and won 2 Ballon D'ors since he was the age Harry Kane is right now.
Muppet or not, that's class.
Don't be sad. Maldini's still playing. He's just transferred his spirit into @Ben_Davies33 's body.
Absolutely adore a player that steps into a completely different level when playing for his country.
2 lads in the final draft section of the @FIFAe @FootballManager World Cup that were literal children on the forums when I was heavily involved in the scene as a youngster - like a proud FM dad 😊
Will be binging it so hard today as I recover from surgery. You go, @RdfTactics !
Fair play to Southampton on this Ramsdale deal.
Fits the style of the team, high quality, demanding of standards and raring to go.
Relegation fairly expected, so they can happily get 30m+ for him next season with Bazunu back and ready for the Championship.
Good business.
'Shit Era' 😂
Twitter's just getting more and more frustrating the older I get; having to listen to these hot takes over and over.
PS: I do actually kinda agree with the original 'Salah = best non-European/South American' point tbf (though, if not for colonialism; Eusebio)

Not specifically 'cancelled', but I'll die on the 'The Newsroom is the best US series I've ever seen ' hill every day of the week.
Only just worked-out that @Chelsearory was in one of the best British comedy series of all time.
Is there anything this man can't do?
(except not have hot football takes and refuse to stand corrected on them 😉)
