I was ready for my session earlier this week Measuring Copilot & Agent ROI - From Time Saved to Value Created. My session was right after the keynote. I had 80 slides ready. 345+ people interested in the topic. The screens failed. Right before I went on. What I thought would be my worst presentation became one of my most meaningful. Because community does something no slide deck can: It lifts you when the tech lets you down. It reflects back what you couldn’t see yourself. It reminds you that the point was never the slides. Dozens of people stopped me throughout the conference. Not to critique. To encourage. “I learned something new.” “Thank you for your courage.” “I understood Agent ROI better because of your session.” This is why I show up to conferences. This is why I speak.
