Through Stuff the Bus, CIS-SA helps provide school supplies to students across 130+ partner schools and 10 non-profit partners—while also easing the burden on teachers who too often pay for classroom essentials out of their own pockets. At Dwight Middle School, one student quietly told her teacher that her mom couldn’t afford school supplies yet and asked if he could “wait until her mom’s next paycheck.” Two weeks later, she was still trying to get by with scraps of paper. Thanks to donations through Stuff the Bus, CIS-SA was able to provide her with a full set of supplies—restoring her confidence and helping her stay engaged in class.
