It was a real pleasure to share some of the nerdy details of my job with @donttrythis
I cannot tell you how stunned I was to learn about @HamiltonMusical's sound mixing from @broadwaysf head audio mixer Kevin McCoy. For example, only ONE MICROPHONE is ever on at A TIME. You won't want to miss our latest Hamilton behind-the-scenes video. youtu.be/60OpF3DCVls

Overheard from a young audience member walking by the balcony rail just now: "Why are there so many wires?" Amen, my young friend. – at Las Vegas, NV

Aw man the British guy complaining about the When We Were Young cancellation blocked me. I had just thought of making a joke about unsafe Truss issues. Damn. – at Las Vegas, NV

After the disappointment of seeing Jorts double down on a shitty take I'm ready for Elon to complete the destruction of twitter. If we can't have a nice cat account what's even the point of this thing anymore. – at Paradise, NV

I feel like this is a big part of the ableism (and misogyny) that people kept missing. From the first cat tweet, the question wasn't "what are appropriate expectations for this service," it was "defend your right to use this service." Paying for domestic labor is offensive.

I wish @JortsTheCat would take an opportunity to lift up the voices of disabled folks rather than spending so much effort defending a snarky quick take that caused harm (also look at the problematic folks being empowered in the replies.) – at Las Vegas, NV

Broadway is a machine that has perpetuated harm time and time again, and those of you who aren’t interested in talking about it with a critical eye are participating in that harm.

Let’s be honest. A lot of people in the theatre industry don’t actually want to actually better or change things in the industry. It’s obvious in the way that they get soooooo flustered and upset, and are quick to say that the ways others are going about it is the wrong way

I know this is awful news but also am I right in thinking that sounds exactly like a heist that Carmen Sandiego would pull on the game show? – at Costa Mesa, CA
Alaska’s Department of Fish and Game has canceled the winter snow crab season for the first time ever after an estimated 1 billion crabs mysteriously vanished from Alaskan waters in just two years. The cancellation could cost the economy $200 million.

I was just asked a good question. Is the term "audience blinders" (referring to bright lights aimed at the audience) ableist or otherwise problematic? What's a good alternative? – at Costa Mesa, CA

Thanks for the replies everyone! It seems like the general consensus from folks here (and from my searching elsewhere) is that using "blind" to describe literal blockage or loss of vision is fine.
