Society often imposes a timeline on when women should find love and become mothers. But for Olusola Olonade, life unfolded differently. She married at 48 and, two years later, welcomed quadruplets through IVF at the age of 50.

Inside a human brain when reading a book.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
This video shows time-lapse of cultured neurons connecting via growth cones in a lab dish, not processes in a living human brain while reading. Similar real clips by Dr. Lila Landowski show developmental wiring; this one's exact source is unconfirmed.

Very interesting. .. Can this happen in Uganda? @PoliceUg ☺️
🇦🇱 Not the protest video you'd expect from Albania right now
After days of stones, fires and tear gas in Tirana, one masked protester walks up to the riot police, hugs an officer, then hands out water to the same men he's been marching against, and even lifts a whole pack up to their armoured truck
Honestly it's so good to see that even on the worst nights, there's still someone out there choosing kindness over anger
More of this, please

They should first make liquid gas& electricity more affordable for omuntu wa wansi. But generally, cooking with gas nowdays is much cheaper than charcoal. The only challenge for most people is that they can't buy gas at once whereas with charcoal they can buy in bits of even 1k
Speaker @ObothOboth has suspended the ban on charcoal use until government brings a comprehensive report next Wednesday.
“I do that not because I support charcoal [use], but because I am aware of how difficult it is going to be for enforcers.” #PlenaryUg

Yesterday, I met with medical interns and leaders of the Uganda Medical Association, led by their President, Dr. Frank Asiimwe, at State House Entebbe.
I committed to supporting the UMA SACCO to enable health workers to access affordable credit, upgrade their skills and create opportunities to employ themselves. This is a practical way of empowering our medical professionals.
I also directed that the policy requiring medical students to complete internship before graduating be corrected. Graduation and housemanship are separate processes, and we should not waste time by mixing the two.
On interns’ allowances, we shall continue consultations while ensuring that our decisions are guided by affordability and sustainability.
I also support the proposal for tax relief for health workers and improved access to essential, life supporting items.
Our goal is to build a strong health sector with skilled, motivated and empowered professionals who can deliver quality healthcare to all Ugandans.
