Big news from our side! On this auspicious occasion of Dussera, we are thrilled to launch Brain, an AI agent built directly into Taghash! 🚀 After years of helping investment funds consolidate their deals, portfolios, investor records, and fund operations, we are taking things to a whole new level. Now you can put all that valuable institutional knowledge to work through a simple, natural conversation. We compiled a short video to share Brain's capabilities :) We're rolling it out to small cohort of Taghash customers this week, if you'd like to be one of those please reach out to us. Thanks to the entire team at Taghash for pulling this off. And finally, this wouldn't have been possible without our customers and their desire to progress in the agentic era. This is just the beginning. Even more exciting stuff on the way!

220 pages in the report and Zero mention / evaluation of Bihar, which probably produces 12-15% of all IT engineers / employees. deloitte.com/content/dam/ass… [There is 1 mention of Bihar citing Ranchi as a destination for Bihar students]
Bihar deserves a place in the conversation on India’s emerging technology hubs. Its young workforce, entrepreneurial spirit and untapped potential offer a significant opportunity to build new centres of innovation, investment and employment. It would be valuable to understand the criteria behind Deloitte’s assessment and how Bihar’s opportunities were evaluated. As India’s technology ecosystem expands, Bihar should be seen not merely for its potential, but as a state ready to help shape India’s digital future. 🇮🇳 @DeloitteIndia

A great year to be A16Z A rough year to be an emerging manager VC
927 emerging managers closed a fund in 2022. Only 211 have in 2026, down 77%. The LP money didn't disappear. It just moved upmarket.

This is a good point. In traditional boom cycles, there is an installation phase and then a deployment phase. The people in the installation phase build in the hope that if they build, people will come. Eventually, people come a little too late, and then leverage hits the players in the installation phase. I think in this case, the demand far outstrips the supply, and so the people who are doing the installation are going to be guaranteed to get paid.
President and COO of Blackstone, Jon Gray, on why he doesn't believe AI is a bubble: "I like to remind people, in a classic investment bubble, what you get is enormous spend of capital to build capacity to meet some estimated future demand. That's what happened with railroads at the end of the 19th century, it's what happened with telecom infrastructure at the end of the 20th century. By the way, in both cases, it was done with a lot of leverage." "Now let's talk about what is happening with AI infrastructure today. We are seeing the exact opposite. In this case, the demand is exploding upward. Our companies are spending 20x more on models, individuals are using these tools with things like Instinct and Muse. Their usage is going up. Demand we see everywhere exploding going to the right, and supply is behind as opposed to ahead. Most of the supply is being contracted by the biggest, most well capitalized companies in the world." The problem isn’t that AI is intelligent. It isn’t. The problem is that too many adults (but not all) are at once mechanistic, imitative, unimaginative, stupid, formulaic, influenceable, & gullible, arrogant beyond their skill set, & too expensive to maintain.

The AI impact won't be felt immediately through layoffs (existing jobs are sticky), but through a collapse in hiring (jobs that don't yet exist have no stickiness).

BREAKING: OpenAI just banned a man for fixing his own TV. He was taking it apart on his own computer. OpenAI flagged it as “cyber abuse” and shut his account. He says he lost $500. People say Claude stopped helping with this kind of work this week too. You paid for the TV, paid for the AI and you still need their permission. This is why I run open models. Nobody can ban you from your own computer.
banned for reverse engineering work? that’s wild oh well, -$500, and a bunch of banked resets) but gained motivation to get 3 more machines and finish my cluster. i have never used openai to exploit or find vulnerabilities, only local reverse engineering which tripped daybreak.
