Peter Steinberger is joining OpenAI to drive the next generation of personal agents. He is a genius with a lot of amazing ideas about the future of very smart agents interacting with each other to do very useful things for people. We expect this will quickly become core to our product offerings.
OpenClaw will live in a foundation as an open source project that OpenAI will continue to support. The future is going to be extremely multi-agent and it's important to us to support open source as part of that.

After months of market research, one thing became clear - loyalty programs are the perfect entry point for digital reputation. Here's where #UPAS_ is heading, and why the $200B+ loyalty market needs Web3 transformation:
1⃣ Major players like Pollen ($150M), Blackbird ($24M), qiibee ($8M) are rushing to build closed systems. Meanwhile, we're creating something different - an open standard that benefits everyone.
2⃣ Technical foundation getting serious upgrades:
* ICRC-1 powered points that never expire
* Delegated keys for true privacy
* Smart receipt tracking with symmetric encryption
* Tag-based reputation computation
* Dynamic cashback tied to reputation scores
3⃣ Businesses don't care about "decentralization" - they want growth. So we're giving them:
* Flexible reward schemes
* Team management through delegated keys
* Private analytics
* Cross-program engagement
* Real customer insights
4⃣ Users finally get what matters:
* Reputation that travels everywhere
* Stack rewards across platforms
* Own your data monetization
* Earn based on your actual value
* No more locked points
5⃣ Everything stays open source. While others build walled gardens, we're creating public infrastructure for the entire ICP ecosystem.
Really hoping @dfinity continues supporting this vision - we're building what could make ICP the backbone of Web3 loyalty. Current market signals show this could be the breakthrough case for ICP's business adoption. 🥷

New 3h31m video on YouTube:
"Deep Dive into LLMs like ChatGPT"
This is a general audience deep dive into the Large Language Model (LLM) AI technology that powers ChatGPT and related products. It is covers the full training stack of how the models are developed, along with mental models of how to think about their "psychology", and how to get the best use them in practical applications.
We cover all the major stages:
1. pretraining: data, tokenization, Transformer neural network I/O and internals, inference, GPT-2 training example, Llama 3.1 base inference examples
2. supervised finetuning: conversations data, "LLM Psychology": hallucinations, tool use, knowledge/working memory, knowledge of self, models need tokens to think, spelling, jagged intelligence
3. reinforcement learning: practice makes perfect, DeepSeek-R1, AlphaGo, RLHF.
I designed this video for the "general audience" track of my videos, which I believe are accessible to most people, even without technical background. It should give you an intuitive understanding of the full training pipeline of LLMs like ChatGPT, with many examples along the way, and maybe some ways of thinking around current capabilities, where we are, and what's coming.
(Also, I have one "Intro to LLMs" video already from ~year ago, but that is just a re-recording of a random talk, so I wanted to loop around and do a lot more comprehensive version of this topic. They can still be combined, as the talk goes a lot deeper into other topics, e.g. LLM OS and LLM Security)
Hope it's fun & useful!

Time for a quick summary of where we're taking #UPAS_ in 2025. After months of development, two @dfinity grants and deep analysis of digital reputation space, we've crystallized our vision. So here's what's keeping me up at night:
1⃣ Core insight: digital reputation needs strong commercial foundation. Nobody cares about "decentralization" unless it brings real value. Users want benefits, businesses want customers. That's our north star.
2⃣ Why #ICP for reputation? Simple - it solves core Web3 UX friction that's been holding back mass adoption. No gas fees, native HTTP outcalls for real-world data verification, and vetKeys for private credential storage. Try building this on EVM - you'll hit walls fast.
3⃣ Retail integration is our prime focus. Instead of creating another Web3-to-Web3 solution, we're building bridges to real businesses that can easily plug into existing web2 infrastructure. Something that works right here, right now.
Unified portable reputation > isolated loyalty programs.
4⃣ Think about it: current loyalty systems are like having different passports for each store. UPAS flips this - your reputation follows you everywhere, and you control who to share it with.
5⃣ ICP technical foundation is solid and built to last:
* Decentralized storage with no downtime
* Built-in computation that eliminates need for external oracles
* Encrypted messaging for secure data exchange
* Key-based user-business relationships with granular permission control
* Cost-effective scaling through ICP's reverse gas model
* Account abstraction by design with Internet Identity
6⃣ Main challenges aren't technical but regulatory. Each jurisdiction has different frameworks for data storage and rewards. We're working on flexible architecture to accommodate this.
7⃣ 2025 vision: UPAS becomes the bridge between Web3 reputation and real business value. Open source heart, commercial muscles. Users earn from their reputation through actual value rather than speculative tokens, while businesses gain verified customers and reduce acquisition costs.
Boost your reputation in '25 and it'll boost your wallet all your life! Happy 2025! 🌖 🥷
