Tesla’s Optimus training regime leak.
Workers in its Palo Alto R&D facility have been holding “robot university” for many months already. Press got it wrong when they said it just started up.
Workers are wearing 24 lb suits with up to 40 cameras and grids of 3D sensors. To capture very detailed video and 3D fields of whatever the worker does.
There are multiple configurations.
They are given different tasks to do. They don’t know where the tasks come from.
Multiple squads are working on three shifts 24 hours a day. Similar efforts were seen at the Texas factory.
The data collection effort is immense.
A Tesla car only has nine cameras.
This leads to a data flywheel that is orders of magnitude more data than the car captured.
Separate teams are capturing home data, like making a sandwich, while other teams capture jobs on factory floor, like installing HVAC systems in cars.
Elon isn’t playing around.
I can’t tell you how I learned this.

Someone explain to me why I need a Yubikey and not just any 2FA app on my iPhone. I'll wait.
It's coming to a point with hackers using ai that if you don't have a @Yubico Yubikey you WILL be hacked. This physical key 2FA is impossible to hack.
Even if the hacker has your password, impossible, even if the hacker hacks into your phone, THEY NEED THE YUBIKEY.
Joke aside, I'd love to hear what the "settled" science is on economics. Let me guess... the Keynesian junk taught in universities?

I completely forgot about making this web site until I finally got some charge for running it. capitalism-socialism.com/
Will keep it since it's the same server as bitcoin-fiat.com
You think he's kidding, but you haven't been paying attention.

How about the robot is looking down while assembling a Swiss watch with one hand and then, without looking up, catches an oblique 100mph baseball with the other hand?
I also like the idea of juggling chainsaws on fire while riding a unicycle.
When @realDonaldTrump was elected for his first term, innumerable people including most of my academic colleagues said that the worst realities would befall the United States. None of those things happened. They then said that he would wait until his second term to end democracy, institute martial law, etc. None of those things have happened. Is there a SINGLE honest individual amongst those people who is willing to admit that they were grossly incorrect and hence irrationally unhinged?
When "skynet" turns on*, humans will just be part of the natural noise of the environment.
It has already started booting, Most of us don't realize what's happening unless you're Robert Scoble deep into it or get a lucky glimpse of it like I did with Grok Bot this morning.
Everything, everything, everything is going to be virtual piled on virtual piled on virtual. Faster than a lightning strike. My head is swimming this morning. Some sci-fi author somewhere must have seen this coming.
When Michael Saylor said "all your models are destroyed", that was because bitcoin came along and changed everything. Digital and physical robots are the same thing. All your models of everything are destroyed.
The 5-year countdown timer for the obsolescence of all apps and web sites has begun.

It's crazy how the Grok Bot app running on a computer at home can access and control everything in your homes, including your Teslas.
