Bobr Quant - a desktop app for traders & investors who want everything in one place:
→ Trade stocks, commodities & crypto based on signals
→Track your portfolio in real time
→ Stay ahead with curated news & upcoming events
Built for people who want signals, not noise.
It is in early stage yet, especially trading zone. It need a lot of data and time to work better.
Next book for my quants.
I read only 40 pages and those 40 pages had the biggest impact on my algorithm system.
Bro is ultimate moron.
Where are all people screaming that AI is taking the world and there will be no work for office people?
It is just the beginning.
A generation ago, Poland rationed sugar and flour while its citizens were paid one-tenth what West Germans earned. Today its economy has edged past Switzerland to become the world’s 20th largest with over $1 trillion in annual output. nbcnews.com/business/economy…
I see many people saying after that info $META stock surged.
Sorry guys but I guess we have different charts.
Here is daily chart of Meta stock.
Are we cooked?
5 minutes ago, @karpathy just dropped karpathy/jobs!
he scraped every job in the US economy (342 occupations from BLS), scored each one's AI exposure 0-10 using an LLM, and visualized it as a treemap.
if your whole job happens on a screen you're cooked.
average score across all jobs is 5.3/10.
software devs: 8-9.
roofers: 0-1.
medical transcriptionists: 10/10 💀

Another book for future or current traders to read.
Taleb shows how people often mistake luck for skill, especially in markets and investing.
The book explains that short-term success can easily come from randomness rather than true ability or strategy.
Its key lesson - understand probability, manage risk, and never assume that past wins prove real skill.
The black line at the bottom represents global oil consumption, while the blue and orange layers represent the daily trading volume on the ICE exchange alone. If we add the CME and the over-the-counter (OTC) market to this, it turns out that every day, the trading volume is 60 times greater than the actual global consumption of this raw material.
So trading oil it’s just traders pvp.
Tbh that is so huge opportunity.
I am already in, you guys should also.

Many traders think they need to be right more than 50% of the time to make money.
That’s not true.
What actually matters is your Risk/Reward ratio.
If you risk $100 to make $200, you only need to win about 45% of your trades to be profitable.
Example:
10 trades
• 4 winning trades → 4 × $200 = $800
• 6 losing trades → 6 × $100 = $600
Final result: $200 profit
You were wrong 60% of the time and still made money.
Trading isn’t about being right.
It’s about managing risk and letting the math work in your favor.
Algo update:
I didnt add more indicators, I upgraded the architecture behind decision-making.
The system now includes:
• Market State Classification - identifying whether we are in trend, range, volatility expansion, or compression before deploying capital.
• Intermarket Alignment Score - measuring cross-asset confirmation (indices, BTC, commodities, dollar, yields) to trade in sync with capital flows.
• Volatility-Based Position Scaling - increasing exposure only when momentum and volatility statistically support continuation.
• Watchdog 2.0 - evolving from a simple 15m move detector into a real-time impulse quality analyzer (momentum acceleration, structure, volatility expansion, breakout context).
• 50 Trade Performance Attribution - automatic evaluation of expectancy per regime and adaptive position sizing adjustments.
The objective is simple:
Not to predict more.
Not to trade more.
But to allocate more capital only when conditions historically produce edge and systematically reduce exposure when they don’t.
The system is slowly shifting from a signal-driven model to a structured, regime-aware capital allocation framework.
