A Google dev: "for some things there are better tools than @FlutterDev"
Community trolls: <weird screeches>

Being a long time crusader for a lot of these third party solutions, the scene is so much different now largely because these companies are openly hostile toward any reverse engineering attempts of their proprietary apps. They will ban any users caught with them and sue the devs.

Friends,
I'm currently looking for work as an intermediate flutter developer or in developer relations. Any and all leads are appreciated!
The younger generations might be a step forward in knowledge, but they are a stride behind when it comes to experience.

This rally in Tel Aviv is just Huge: 10,000 Israeli citizens, Jews and Palestinians, that are holding together the pictures of these children who have been boned to death in Gaza. We will back down to the threats of the police, we will not surrender until Ending the killing.

Kyiv ❤️🩹
This is how other European capitals will look if russia isn't stopped in Ukraine and held accountable for their horrendous atrocities.
Justice is key to breaking russia's vicious circle of impunity. It isn't for sale.

I satirized this idea a few years ago when ChatGPT first came out. The reason it's "cheating" is because unless you learn the facts and skills, technology will always be a crutch.
Imagine not knowing how to multiply or add numbers or how to spell correctly.
Imagine a physicist not knowing how to compute a derivative without Mathematica.
Imagine your physician searching "shortness of breath WebMD". Or trying to date someone while feeding everything through Google Translate.
Imagine your surgeon whipping out chatgpt in the middle of your operation.
There's a reason why we teach students to compute limits the hard way before giving them L'Hopital's rule.
The whole point of learning things is so *you* know them. When you learn something, it becomes yours. Relinquishing your agency and thought is not just pathetic, it's saying that you will always be nothing.
There is nothing wrong with not knowing something. Just stop worshipping your own ignorance.
One of the most bizarre beliefs prevalent in the US is that there's a thick line dividing people into "law-abiding", and "criminals".

Actually, this doesn't apply if you're attempting to learn languages at any level.

Obviously this doesn’t apply if you’re attempting to learn languages at a deeper level, or want to engage in conversation regularly.
But for the “I’m going on vacation for two weeks so I’m going to do Duolingo for a few months…” type people, yeah, consider your options.

this is pretty much all the computer art i make

ALT Traceroute, you see, is "clever," which is an engineering term that means "fragile." When programmers discover something "clever," any ability they may have had to assess its sustainability or purpose-fit often goes out the window, because it's far more important to embrace the "cleverness" than to solve a problem reliably. source: https://gekk.info/articles/traceroute.htm

Kobieta, która przeżyła najgorsze piekło — gwałt — miałaby stanąć przed sądem, a potem iść do więzienia, bo odmówiła urodzenia dziecka swojego oprawcy?
Zdajecie sobie sprawę, co proponujecie? To nie jest tylko barbarzyństwo. To tortura ubrana w prawną togę.
Seksualnego, psychicznego i systemowego.
To kontrola. To kara za nieposłuszeństwo wobec patriarchalnego porządku. Bo nie chcecie chronić życia — chcecie kontrolować kobiety. Gwałcone, bite, samotne… Wszystkie.
Byle były posłuszne i rodziły.

Here's the thing. When a browser, an app, or a website encourages you to turn on an awesome feature, it's almost always because a lawyer who understands the feature said "whoa, we're gonna be in real trouble if we don't have consent".
