Thank you for acknowledging the issue! Please see it resolved soon, hundreds of users are still waiting for their accounts to be reinstated, and even more are worried that their accounts will be wrongfully removed without warning.

For anyone whose account was affected by this, I would strongly recommend appealing for a reinstatement. I’m hearing that some folks were able to get their accounts restored. Above all else, be persistent.

I want to be as CLEAR AS POSSIBLE about this: If you DO get struck, don’t worry. It’s as easy as submitting an appeal and waiting. Continue to notify the support team about the issue until it is resolved. People’s accounts are being restored via appeals. Do not panic!

Above all else, stay positive and persistent! This site has had a very rickety reputation as of the last year (for a number of reasons) but this CAN AND WILL BE RESOLVED with diligence, patience and dedication. Continue to submit appeals and notify Twitter of the issue.

6. Who do we reach out to? @TwitterSupport, @Twitter, and @elonmusk are 3 major points of contact I strongly recommend reaching out to in individual posts and/or comments on pre-existing ones. As I said, the more users being this to attention, the sooner it will be resolved.

*NOTE: I haven’t seen anyone’s appeals be rejected, so don’t be alarmed. But seeing as the appeal process is automated in many cases, I would not be surprised if this did occur once or twice. Submit one at a time. Be detailed, forward, and form.

3. Should I stop using AdBlockers? I would recommend not using third-party extensions that may directly limit Twitter’s site functionally while you’re using it. This may put you at risk for an account flagging and wrongful suspension.

2. What should I do? Submit an appeal. It may take a while (1-2 months at most) but accounts CAN and WILL be restored. I have seen certain users regain access to their accounts in much shorter periods of time, so don’t lose hope.

1. Why is this happening? I’m receiving different answers from different people about why this might be occurring, but my current understanding is that Twitter may be cracking down on users that utilize AdBlockers to suppress Twitter Blue.
