Well I can just about stomach losing to Ramsgate but not the manner of the defeat. Poor performance from @margate_fc . Very little creativity and never looked like scoring. Relied on long ball and hope someone gets on the end of it. Got to do better. #upthegate
Players announcing they're leaving @margate_fc then the club reacting. Not sure the club have quite got this the right way round.
The irony of this photo used in the Match preview article.
This is exactly what @SamBlackman2 should have been doing, getting the ball and using it, not playing at the back.

Wow, an all time low for @margate_fc today. Beaten by a young @CrowboroughAFC team who were prepared to work their bollocks off for their team. Something the Margate players didn't do. Shocking performance devoid of ideas and creativity, but full of holes in midfield.
Well that was a shit show from @margate_fc today.
2-0 up at HT and then collapsed to defeat. Fair play to Deal, they worked hard and were better all over the park in the second half.
Too many players hiding in that second half.
If they gave points for players whining and whinging at each other and the ref then @margate_fc would be in the play offs.
If the new scoreboard at @margate_fc is delayed, on order or waiting on suppliers then so be it but just let the fans (who fundraised for it) know.
The communication from the board is still as bad as ever. #upthegate
Scandalous. The clue's in the name - Memorial Hall, paid for by public subscription, should never be sold. Is nothing sacred from the relentless sell off of public amenities?
Put in to auction at a month's notice, nothing dodgy there then! #broadstairs
County Council puts Broadstairs Memorial Hall – home to the Sarah Thorne Theatre- up for auction - theisleofthanetnews.com/2025…
In the absence of any @margate_fc updates, it's a very nervy first half performance against bottom of the league. Players too eager to get rid and not take responsibility. Got to do better. #upthegate
And do better they certainly did second half. Great result, well played all the @margate_fc boys. #upthegate
Scrappy unconvincing win tonight for @margate_fc against Sittingbourne but a win's a win. #upthegate
Wow what a shocking first half from @margate_fc
And no it's not because of the wind, not 1 shot on target .... Non stop hoof ball. Sitting so so deep, really worrying tactics.
Not going today but good luck to @margate_fc against Crowborough.
Let's push on from last week.

Lots of movement in #NonLeague
Clubs constantly adjusting squads and strengthening as the season unfolds.
Good performance from @margate_fc tonight. All the lads put a good shift in. Fitness told in the end, Charlton boys had the edge.
Now we really can concentrate on the league. #upthegate
But she's one of us, a working class girl, she must be, she said she was !
All the same once they get their snouts in the trough.
Think Greenhalgh and Flanagan need to have a really good look at themselves tonight. Tactics very basic for @margate_fc this evening.
Good performance from @margate_fc today, didn't create too much but finished what they did.
Don't know who the new No 8 was but thought he did ok.
