Just learnt how to create a proper twitter thread the right way. Super excited!! Looking forward to better twitter threads.
On Feedback loops: For a product a complete feedback loop is when 1. Customers interact with the product, 2. You can measure the interactions and 3. You learn from what you measured. These loops inform your next set of actions.. Choose options that lead to shortest loops.

Early stage startups should ruthlessly focus on getting this right. This applies to all the decisions they make on all aspects of product development. Eg:, what level of infra to setup, what processes should we adopt, what should our onboarding process be for customers, etc.

Enduring companies ensure that they not only get this right during their early parts of their journey, but tries to keep the feedback loop short even as they grow. It is very easy to bask on your early success and become very complacent and lose sight of this.

Everything feels easier if you can agree that a Product Strategy emerges over time. Unless there’s evidence you’re moving in the right direction, it’s worthless. Hypothesis > Test > Result > React It works at all levels.
