TWEEPS: Ukraine is in a fight for their lives.
Our support has allowed them to fight Putin's invasion without any American troops on the ground.

Kindness still exists! I needed this story:
"So last night we went to go eat at Olive Garden. My mother who is 79 years young decided to sit at the corner of the table where she felt more comfortable and had open space if she needed to get up during dinner.
Our orders arrived and I was speaking with my 15-year-old who was in front of me when I turned to the left of me to check on my mother.
To my surprise I see our server Susie cutting my mom's steak. I was in total awe.
I immediately thanked her and her response was 'No problem I don’t mind, I have grandparents and I know how it is at times.’ My heart overflowed with gratitude and my eyes filled with tears as she kept asking my mom 'is this ok? Let me cut this one up more for you.’
She stood there cutting the meat into smaller pieces for a good 3 minutes.
My mom would turn to look at me smiling as I would smile back at her. I made sure her manager knew exactly what she had done, I expressed my gratitude towards her and told him this kind of heart she has is full of caring and compassion.
It’s not taught by employers. That she should be commended and be acknowledged for going a step further in her service which now a days is lacking in many establishments.
Susie deserves the recognition!"

The courage on display by Rep. Jared Golden cannot be overstated.
Golden opposed a ban on assault weapons, admitted he was wrong, and now asks his constituents for forgiveness and urges Congress to ban them.
We need more of THIS.

TWEEPS: I've said it before, I'll say it again -- President Biden was not my first OR second choice, but I sure am relieved we elected him at a time where steady, experienced leadership is what America needs.
That's why he's got my vote for 2024.

Food for thought. The first American forces that will ultimately be on ground assisting Israel will be members of our most elite and highly trained warriors. They train for these situations every day of their life.
They will go in, knowing full well…that many of them will come back to the United States in a box. They’re going to go anyway. Not going would NEVER be a thought. And, they’ll do it enthusiastically.
Monetarily, when looked at across all pay grades, they’ll do it….for an average of about $30 dollars an hour. They’d do it for $10.
The kind of people who are called in to solve the kinds of problems they’re being called in to solve….are the people who stand between freedom….and evil. If you’re smart…you’re grateful for people like this…willing to do the shit that most people aren’t equipped to tackle.

BREAKING: In a devastating speech, iconic actor Robert De Niro rips Donald Trump to shreds, declaring that Trump is “not a bad man,” but “an evil one” who is a “wanna be tough guy” and has “no morals or ethics.”
But Robert De Niro didn’t stop there…
De Niro continued:
“Trump has no sense of right or wrong. No regard for anyone but himself — not the people he was supposed to lead and protect, not the people he does business with, not the people who follow him, blindly and loyally, not even the people who consider themselves his “friends.” He has contempt for all of them.
The repercussions of his turbulent presidency divided America and rattled New York City beyond imagination. Remember how we were jolted by crisis in early 2020, as a virus swept the world.
We lived with Donald Trump’s bombastic behavior every day on the national stage, and we suffered as we saw our neighbors piling up in body bags.
The man who was supposed to protect this country put it in peril, because of his recklessness and impulsiveness. It was like an abusive father ruling the family by fear and violent behavior. That was the consequence of New York’s warning getting ignored. Next time, we know it will be worse.
Make no mistake: the twice-impeached, 4-time indicted Donald Trump is still a fool. But we can’t let our fellow Americans write him off like one. Evil thrives in the shadow of dismissive mockery, which is why we must take the danger of Donald Trump very seriously.
So, today I issue another warning.
From this place where Abraham Lincoln spoke — right here in the beating heart of New York — to the rest of America:
This is our last chance.
Democracy won’t survive the return of a wannabe dictator.
And it won’t overcome evil if we are divided.
So what do we do about it? We have to take today into tomorrow – take it outside these walls. We have to reach out to the half of our country who have ignored the hazards of Trump and, for whatever reason, support elevating him back into the White House. They’re not stupid, and we must not condemn them for making a stupid choice. Our future doesn’t just depend on us. It depends on them.
Let’s reach out to Trump’s followers with respect. Let’s not talk about “democracy.”
“Democracy” may be our holy grail, but to others it is just a word, a concept, and in their embrace of Trump, they’ve already turned their backs on it. Let’s talk about right and wrong. Let’s talk about humanity. Let’s talk about kindness. Security for our world. Safety for our families. Decency. Let’s welcome them back. We won’t get them all, but we can get enough to end the nightmare of Trump.”
Well said, Robert De Niro!

BREAKING: Republican candidate Donald Trump gets destroyed by a devastating response from Forbes Magazine’s senior editor after Trump demanded an apology from the Forbes editor after Forbes booted Trump from its “400 List” of the wealthiest Americans.
It all started when Trump posted on Truth Social, “I hereby demand a full apology from the failing Forbes Magazine, and their third rate[sic] psycho writer, Dan Alexander, for the many false and libelous articles they have written about me, and for the cooperation they have given to the Racist and Incompetent A.G. of New York State, Peekaboo James.”
Unfortunately for Trump, Forbes editor Dan Alexander stood strong and gave Trump a blistering response, telling Trump, “Hey Donald Trump, if you want to point out a single false fact in any of the articles I’ve published about you — or in the book I wrote about you — feel free to do so. In the meantime, I’m going to keep reporting on you — and carefully fact-checking every word that I publish.”
Adding insult to injury for Trump, Forbes also issued an official response to Trump as a publication, declaring, “Removed from The Forbes 400, Trump responds as he always has — by lying about his net worth and saying he should be higher on the list. We take extraordinary care in valuing his fortune, and our ownership — which does not include China’s wealth fund — plays no role in that effort. Twice a year, we publish a detailed breakdown of our work, offering a far more accurate portrayal of Trump’s personal balance sheet than the fictitious documents that the Trump Organization has created over the years.”

Who is to blame for forcing ex-President to walk onstage in Iowa last night to the following lyrics?
“One could end up going to prison, one just might be president.”
This was tasteless and disrespectful. Make sure you don’t amplify the insult by reposting or liking this tweet.

If the UK invaded and annexed part of Nigeria 30 years after Nigerian independence, or France did the same to Algeria, or Portugal to Angola, we’d call that imperialism or neoimperialism. And we’d be rightly outraged. So why are so many silent about neoimperialism in Ukraine?
