Not that we're torrenting much these days, but this behaviour from Starlink is seriously messed up
Lol I got a copyright infringement notice from Paramount via Starlink for downloading a Dexter Resurrection Torrent. Never had this before. Happened within 2 days of downloading too.

People get excited for metro meanwhile I am waiting the time when RRTS becomes new normal. Imagine living 50 km away from city and reach city center within 30 minutes without any honk or traffic with an affordable fare.

What's happening with cybersecurity is what rationalists freaking about AI capabilities had been predicting for a long while. It's called "The Great Hackening" & it is is going to get worse. (Systems will emerge stronger from it, but in the short term, expect chaos).

This is the most serious 48 hours in cybersecurity history. "Black October" they're calling it It seems every *hour* there's a new incident, that in a typical year, would be one of the biggest incidents of the *entire year* SUMMARY OF THE LAST 48 HOURS: YEAR-LEVEL INCIDENTS (In a typical year, these would be among the biggest incidents of the year): 1. PHP2Shell: a hole in the software behind ~70% of websites. Governments took sites offline. 2. eMudhra: the master keys that prove websites are real were cracked. One was the number 4. 3. California: data on every public school student since 2023 stolen, including disability status 4. Railway: hackers stole customers' secret keys from a hosting platform used by millions of developers 5. Zeabur: 321,810 accounts breached. The company is shutting down. 6. LiteLLM: an AI tool downloaded 3.4 million times a day was poisoned with a password stealer 7. GitLab: a 10-out-of-10 severity hole in every version since 2014 8. Cairn: criminals used an AI hacking tool to break into 100+ companies 9. Ahold Delhaize: hackers knocked the owner of Food Lion and Stop & Shop offline 10. Onamae: malware planted on up to 26,739 customer servers in Japan MONTH-LEVEL INCIDENTS (In a typical month, these would be among the biggest incidents): 11. Signal: a bug could leave your mic and camera on after you hang up 12. NGINX: 3 critical holes in software running ~1/3 of websites 13. HTTP/3: a single connection can crash 7 of the 10 web server types tested 14. Plex: hackers breaking into home media servers 15. SafePay ransomware: FBI warns it has hit 600+ critical infrastructure organizations 16. Palo Alto: ransomware gangs breaking in through company firewalls 17. Bullhorn: platform used by 10,000+ companies knocked offline 18. Medi-Cal: 970,000 patients' data stolen 19. WordPress: hackers stole a plugin maker's keys and used them to plant backdoors on websites 20. AOMEI: backup software's update server handed out a backdoor 21. Meta Muse: Meta's AI agent exposed users' personal and business secrets 22. Tor: 333 relays hijacked to steal logins 23. TiDB Cloud: database company's cloud breached Also serious: 24. State Bank of India: India's biggest bank confirms a data breach 25. OVHcloud: hackers slipped a password stealer into a cloud company's official tool 26. Siemens: a software hole being used to spread malware 27. North Korea: state hackers launch a new attack campaign on South Korea
Guys I’m scared the takeoff is starting. I swear any one of the ~10 CVEs that dropped in the last 24 hours would’ve been “one of the worst in recent years” except a new one is dropping every hour

Mythos kind of AI will reshape India. There's no escape. Change for the better fast or get wrecked. CBSE or IRCTC or HDFC or Ambani or Adani, none will be spared by such AI in the hands of adversaries unless these Indian orgs and companies invest in the right innovations and adapt. But if they still continue to have lousy cyber security policies and continue to be stingy about IT and innovation, god save India. The adversaries are going to mess with us big time.

Did Man Utd think All or Nothing was a binary choice that they had to commit to.

I think everyone knows this at some level (consciously or subconsciously). With the advent of AI, finding these vulnerabilities will be even easier and I think we'll see many instances over the next year. Indian cos. should start taking security seriously if they need to survive
I never wanted to say this but we have reported vulnerabilities in hundreds of companies in India. Almost all the companies rejected it, got defensive and now i’m so afraid the exploits are just left open. This is btw the biggest companies in India

All supporters of so called revolution. This is how each will be shocked when mobs come. Their leaders will be outside.

"13 crore names" is the number every TV debate on the Election Commission's SIR now starts from. You get media to repeat that number ten times and it becomes the fact. Almost nobody has asked what is inside it... @TheJaggi breaks it down. What the 13 crore actually contains: - 2.8 crore listed as dead - 6.3 crore flagged as possible permanent migrants - 1 crore duplicate registrations - ~3 crore simply absent from home when enumerators called - Every one of these can be restored on appeal (except the dead..) These numbers - the scale of them - is UNREMARKABLE at India's scale: - Up to 1 crore Indians die every year - The last SIR was 2002-04 - at least 10-12 crore voters have died since - and most never came off the rolls (nobody files a deletion for the dead) How about migrants? - India's internal migrant population is around 45 crore - 6.3 crore flagged as migrated is a fraction of that - Wrongful deletions are probably under 50 lakh nationally - half of one percent of a roll approaching 100 crore The two mind traps doing the work: FIRST - Anchoring: the first big number sticks. - Vinod Rai's Rs 1.76 lakh crore "presumptive loss" on 2008 telecom licences came with three lower estimates -only the biggest survived SECOND - Loss aversion: a voter who fears deletion shouts louder than the 99% who were never touched - Result: "millions and millions" disenfranchised (Justice Ujjal Bhuyan at Nalsar) and "90 lakh knocked out in Bengal to help the BJP" (Rohinton Nariman) - neither claim came with a denominator It's not like EC is all OK, they've also goofed up but not that badly: - It never stress-tested its process for a country where every gross number is huge - A once-in-two-decades purge was always going to throw up figures this size - roll-cleaning has to be continuous - The appeals route for wrongful exclusion has to be stronger than it is now (Link below)

JUST IN: 🇺🇸🇺🇦 US considers cutting Starlink internet access from Ukraine.

Literally the only policy I have heard from these folks about what they will do when they take power is punishing people they don't like. Nothing on infra, economic growth, industry, energy, transit, defense, urban QoL, reforms.
I will support any Political Party or combination which promises Neuremberg style Trial where everyone.... PM, Ministers, CEC, Judges, Defectors, Media are prosecuted for crimes against Humanity for what they have done to my country.

Yeah bro, I see massive uptake of this in the uncovered villages in India.
Current price of @Starlink in Alaska: ₹143,397.55 Set up fee. ($1500) ₹12,428.12 Per month. ($130) Current price of internet in India: ₹1000 Set up fee. ($10.46) ₹599 Per month. ($6.27)

See my post from Jun 10. See what's happening now. All of a sudden so many India based accounts (some that joined X in Oct 2026) are preaching Indians to get Starlink in India citing "bad internet."
Indians must see more & more posts on SM that talk about "bad internet in India" and "why India needs Starlink." There is also a possibility of actual disruptions of net services to try push the discomfort levels and public pressure for Starlink. Since my attached post in 2024, India started considering allowing Starlink so everything was good. But now that this consideration has been suspended, the psyops and disillusionment through disruption ops will restart.

What about Age of Ultron where they killed millions of Ultrons - I think they were major too
Avengers: Doomsday reportedly has at least 6 major deaths. It’s described as one of the darkest movies ever made.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The poster is a known parody account that states it posts fake stories. No official reports from Marvel confirm at least 6 major deaths in Avengers: Doomsday or describe the film as one of the darkest ever made. marvel.com/movies/avenger… en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avengers:… x.com/BuzzCrave_/sta…
