🚨 Community, I need your Support! For six years, the camera you see in the first photo was a part of me. It wasn't just an object; it was the specific tool I personally held, day after day, to tell the stories of our neighborhood. It was the lens that uplifted Black businesses, spotlighted the incredible souls in our community, powered documentaries, and so many of our TV shows. It was the gateway through which I showed the world the best of us. Yesterday, that came to a stop. I quickly ran upstairs to my apartment, and in that short moment, my car was robbed. My camera, my lenses, and all my gear were taken. They say it’s just metal, plastic, and glass. In a way, they’re right. Cameras can be replaced, but the six years of memories tied to that specific device cannot. I need your help. The photos show the person responsible for this violation. I have two favors to ask of my community today: If you live in the Central District, please look at these photos. If you recognize this person, or if you see a Blackmagic 6K camera and a Canon and a Sigma lens in a black backpack for sale anywhere, please call me at 206 822 5300 or if you have this camera and want to return it, you can drop it off at any location on 23rd and Union - Earl's, Cafe Avole, Communion, Jerk Shack, ReSole, no questions asked. I will not stop telling our stories. But to continue, I have to rebuild. I know my community has my back. If you have the means and wish to support my work, you can donate at the link below to help me get the new tools I need to start again. whereweconverge.com/donate-p… Thank you for seeing me. Thank you for lifting me up during this setback. Let's keep the stories alive because #BlackMediaMatters
