Just, you know, listening to the last 30 minutes of the audiobook after I got home from my book club meeting.

Never joke about how craptastic your day has been before the day actually ends. Our day started with our kid burning his hand on my hot curling iron. Then some other crappy things happened & E & I joked about it. Day ended w/same kid puking on his bed.

It's a 4 day weekend so of course one of my kids woke up with a fever. (The kid that wasn't sick all last week.)

Me: I don't understand why I have no energy today. Also me: Have been taking care of my kid who has had a fever for the past 5 days.

I am "just-got-progressives-years-old" and therefore got nauseous while grocery shopping while wearing new glasses.

I think 1/4 of the "get ready with me" makeup videos have the people putting on the wrong color foundation.

Oh, it's my least favorite game to play: what illness does my kid with a sore throat and fever have?

"I had a bad day today! While I was at my play date I ate a spicy jellybean & I did NOT like it." Oh, to be 6.

I am looking into heated blankets years old.

I'm going to a Cookie Party tomorrow and it is really making me miss Cake Party. @loveandnachos

The last 3 weeks has been some of the toughest parenting weeks I have ever encountered. So I came here before school pickup.

Such a fun 24 hours in Las Vegas seeing U2 with @laurahertzfeld. Now a quick plane ride home so I can Mom again in time to make dinner.

My kid is finally back in school after 6 days of being sick and I have 3,000 things to do/catch up on and I'm just... sitting on the couch. I have 5.5 hours to make miracles happen.

My husband is currently having lunch at Club 33 & I got to bring my kid a charge of clothes at school after a bathroom accident. I live an extremely glamorous life.

I still haven't found my lost AirPod. Sigh. In my house it's like looks for a needle in a haystack. Maybe I'll find it next time we move.
