In February, USA Rugby banned trans women from all levels of one of the world’s most inclusive sports. What happened next was telling. Across the country, teams refused to comply. The story of the Baltimore Ferals, who are pushing back: thebanner.com/sports/rugby-b…

“It’s definitely something I’m tired of hearing as well, not just you guys,” Roquan Smith said amidst yet another conversation about a blown lead. On a locker room searching for answers: thebanner.com/sports/ravens-…

Ed Reed and Terrell Suggs called out this Ravens team after they allowed 35 unanswered points in the second half — something that has never happened in franchise history. This defense, from Jesse Minter to the well-paid stars, deserves the scorn: thebanner.com/sports/ravens-…

To add to Jamison's stat here: Using Stathead I found three games in franchise history (all in different decades) in which the Ravens allowed 35 points in the second half, and they were all 35-10 margins. There's never been a second-half 35-0.
It's the kind of history that the Ravens didn't want to make: By my count, today marked the first time in the Ravens' 31-year history that they were outscored by 35 or more points in a half. In a 35-13 loss to the Bengals, Baltimore was outscored 35-0 in the second half. It ties the most points allowed by the Ravens in a second half.

Teams to lead by 13+ points at half and lose by 20+: Ravens 35-13 L vs Bengals today (led 13-0) Colts 55-20 L vs Giants 11/19/1950 (20-7) Eagles 49-14 L vs Bears 11/30/1941 (14-0)
Ravens trail 35-13 after leading 13-0 at the half. The last team to lose by 20+ after leading by 13+ at half: Colts vs Giants 11/19/1950 (led 20-7 at half and lost 55-20)

In the first quarter of this game, Kyle Hamilton set a tone with a TFL on Samaje Perine. In the fourth, Hamilton has Perine in the backfield in his sights, but bounces off the back. TD Cincy. Ravens defense isn't fully healthy, especially with Roquan Smith out. But yikes.

I think that was an admirable call to go for it on 4th. But I have no idea what Tyler Huntley thought he saw on that throw.

The Ravens had the 13-0 lead at halftime. With 4:29 left in the third quarter, the Bengals have taken a 14-13 lead. It felt like even less time, honestly.
