Another award at the CSS Star Awards. Laboratory Medicine's own Carole McGowan a winner in the category of Lifetime and/or Outstanding Achievement Award. So well deserved.
Live from the CSS Star Awards and great to see the Clinical Team award goes to the Blood Tranfusion team. So deserved after the huge contribution to the safety of our blood transfusion service whilst the trust implemented a new EPR and sLIMS.
Happy 75th birthday to the NHS. A special mention for all colleagues who day in day out continue to support Laboratory Services which are essential to the provision of high quality healthcare.
