THE SHEEP DETECTIVE, to my surprise, is the best movie I've seen this year. Funny, clever, heartwarming, surprisingly deep in places, surprisingly touching, it is a charming but tense tale of a murder mystery in a small rural village. The clever amateur detective is a sheep.
