My father called to check in on me-maybe the biggest surprise, my neighbors have come to check on me. My mom, obviously. My friends have all checked in. I started teaching adults how to read for years because of Dolly. I miss her already.

Alabama prisons are more overcrowded today than at any point in the last decade. In 2019 @TheJusticeDept cited overcrowding as the #1 issue behind constitutional violations & sued AL in 2020. BTW, the new Gov. Kay Ivey mega-prison under construction doesn't address overcrowding.
