Happy #PortfolioDay !
I'm a scientist and I make illustrations in my free time to explain biology stuff (including to myself!)

So for my last day I'm just going to be sharing some resources that might be useful! I'll split them into multiple threads depending on the type of resource.

Pessoal, abaixo os cards explicativos para as vacinas contra a #COVID19 que traduzi em colaboração com @lapipettelabs por favor divulguem e mandem correções e updates
Hi guys, this is the latest update for the vaccine cards. Mostly small tweaks and updating the data. I included a legend card to provide a bit more explanation. #sciart #scicomm #CovidVaccine [1/3]
[1/3] As the race toward a vaccine against covid-19 continues, I thought it's be good to do a quick summary of what vaccines are, what do they do and which kinds of vaccines are we talking about. This is a quick overview and I'll post links if you want to dig deeper into it!

A fun project I did with Nature! This incorporates some new information from cryoEM on the spikes and the nucleoprotein of SARS-CoV-2. I'll post the full-size picture @buildmodels with more information.

Could be quite exciting in complement of Ab tests
BBC News - Coronavirus: Test for Covid-19 T cells immunity developed bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-5376… - A company in Cardiff has developed a test for #coronavirus T cells - which can potentially provide longer-term immunity to the virus than antibodies. @UKRI_NEWS
Looks like nsp3 is involved in RNA export to the cytoplasm after the replication #coronavirus
By visualizing #coronavirus replication in an infected host cell, researchers at @LUMC_Leiden uncovered a crown-shaped structure that likely exports viral RNA, so it can be packaged into a virus. This structure may offer a coronavirus-specific drug target. fcld.ly/lc4vt7w
