Scenes from Sheffield right now with @SheffieldSUTR as hundreds of anti-fascists are outnumbering a tiny group of fascist thugs who are failing to spread their hate and Islamophobia

Just a reminder to all those corporate entities and CEO’s happily posting #intenationalwomensday tweets:
Tweeting on one day of the year doesn’t mean you walk the walk. The hard work is in the day to day, not some happy-clappy social media gloss.
Here endeth the lecture.
Not everyone wants to shout about their need, so no names, but yesterday’s and today’s bundles of #Connectivity have gone to a local school in an undeserved area and an area that is struggling with the aftermath of the havoc of flooding in October. #digitalinclusion
The @archerproject is known so well by all of us in Sheffield. They do such great work and we’re so happy to be able to support them!

Police say a man who died after a car hit a group of people in Sheffield was a Good Samaritan who'd stopped to help a stranger. Christian Marriott went to the aid of a woman who was unconscious after a disturbance in the Burngreave area on Wednesday.

Earlier this month a lovely couple from Sheffield donated an iMac to LTFA. We used @Bit_Raser to wipe all the data securely and on Thursday we handed it over to the wonderfully-bejacketed @manianderson95 from @In2Change_ to use in their music programme.
Handed over a MacBook Pro a couple of weeks ago to @aaamindset for use in their youth music programme. They do incredibly important work helping young people make better life choices. So happy to work with you @antzjourney.
We’ve had a busy couple of weeks in our new office. These are a few of the ones that were ready to go, as we work through our backlog of requests…
In the last two weeks I’ve had the pleasure of meeting people from Changing Futures Sheffield, @DarnallWB, @ShawTrust, @refugeecouncil, @SYorksHA and @Shelter. We’re passionate about changing individuals lives for the better by closing the #digitaldivide
