Inbox When my brother kpaied, his wife cried so much and refused to wear makeup for years. She changed completely from the beautiful woman she used to be to something else. It was my parents that encouraged her to keep going because of the kids. Her world stopped. She cried more than his family. We were always visiting her and making sure she gets back to her business. Guess what the moment she started being herself, she got married to someone and shut the door of communication and friendship from her late husband's family. It was my parents that always reached out to her because of their grand kids. Until one day my father decided to go to her house she lives with the new husband, someone directedy father to the house. My father took them unawares and found out this new husband is not taking care of them, the children are not in school but my brother left many things behind which none of us went for. So why are they are not in school. She said they will go next term..my father told her he wants his grandkids to be visiting him. The day my nephew came he said the man locks them insiythe house before he deals with their mom. Kids of 11, 9 and 6. It was my father that put a stop to that Marriage. He went the first time and told them everything his grandkids said. When he left the man said my sister in-law should take her kids away. One evening my sister in-law took the kids to my father and went back alone without the children. That was when my father said she's not her normal self. My father and his brothers visited them and asked my sister in-law if she's happy in the marriage. When they were about leaving he told her there's enough space on our house Incase she needs where to stay. It was up to a year when she came and apologize for everything she said to my family. My parents gave her a house in our family compound. She has lived here for more than twenty years with her children. Why do I write this story? Sometimes after the burial sister inlaws or brother in-law said their final goodbye to the deceased family but we didn't and my sister in-law did not either. We were there for her even when she was pushing us away. We know it's what our late brother would want us to do because he didn't play with his wife. Her jumping into another marriage was normal because she went through a lot ,. depressed and lonely, we understood and let her be. Stepping into her new Marriage is what most people would never do but we knew her presence matters in the lives of her children, no one can play the role of a mother very well except the mother. So we need her to be alive for her children because we already kuahw jumped into the marriage blindly. Don't let widows or widowers struggle alone reach out to them especially the ones that were married to your brother or your sister..love and light
