Hungarians today commemorate the 1956 freedom fighters who revolted against the Stalinist regime.
They tore the communist emblem from the middle of the Hungarian flag. The Hungarian flag with a hole in the middle remains the symbol of the 1956 revolution until this day.

🇭🇺 In 1956, Hungarians stood up to an empire. They faced tanks with courage, tyranny with defiance, and oppression with an unbreakable desire for freedom.
They showed the world that Hungary would rather fight for its freedom than surrender its future.
70 years later, the threats to our freedom may look different, but our answer remains the same. We will not bow to foreign pressure, surrender our sovereignty or allow others to decide Hungary’s future.
Glory to the heroes of 1956!

Congratulations, Kinga!
Let's go, Patriots!
Today, I was elected Co-Chair of the @PatriotsEP alongside @J_Bardella. I am honoured and grateful for the trust placed in me.
With our growing political weight and influence, we will continue to represent the will of European voters and stand as the only real opposition to the European Commission.
Patriotic forces are gaining ground across Europe, with crucial elections ahead. Our goal is to support our member parties in growing stronger and achieving electoral success.
The future belongs to the Patriots!

Half of the opposition has been denied from running at the next elections. Yet, all of a sudden, the European Commission has no concerns about rule of law and democracy in Hungary.

More than 100 people joined our @PatriotsEU conference on liberal authoritarianism in Europe - more than attend an average meeting of the European Parliament’s LIBE Committee, @laszloan pointed out.
Yet the committee responsible for defending democracy, justice and the rule of law has not even put these concerns, including the developments in Hungary, on its official agenda.
“When you undo the rule of law, when you undo democracy, you’re undoing Western civilisation.”
That is why we brought this debate to the European Parliament - and why we will keep raising these issues, even if Brussels would rather look the other way.

🚨🇭🇺🏳️🌈 Hungary's new government is moving to ALLOW LGBTQ advocacy in schools, reversing protections introduced under Orbán.
And it's doing so despite MILLIONS of Hungarians voting against similar changes.
PM Magyar's government is seeking to repeal a provision banning the promotion of homosexuality and gender reassignment to minors, arguing that the changes are necessary to comply with EU law.
The reforms also include changes to public access to Hungary's sex-offender registry.
In a 2022 referendum, roughly 3.6-3.7 million Hungarians voted NO on each of four questions involving LGBTQ-related education and content for minors, although turnout was too low for the referendum to be legally valid.
The move is reigniting a fierce debate over parental rights and Brussels' influence on Hungarian schools.

Since we gutted USAID, the left hasn’t won a single presidential election in Latin America.
Billions in taxpayer cash were funding NGOs, “democracy” programs, and activist networks that conveniently always backed the same side. They called it aid but it was election interference.
Thank you @elonmusk for dragging this into the light. The grift is over.
If the EU is importing more Russian LNG than last year, how are EU countries supposed to cut imports by next year?
What source and at what price?
The EU imported a record 12.18 million tonnes of Russian Arctic LNG in the first nine months of 2026, up 9.5% from 2025, according to Urgewald data published on October 9.

🇪🇺Why aren't EU leaders "Europe first"?
Global fuel markets are not very flexible. The US has lifted sanctions on Russian diesel. The EU will rather go into a fuel crisis doing nothing.

🇭🇺 What is happening in Hungary?
In just a few months: retroactive, tailor-made laws. Voting rights restricted. Opposition figures barred from returning to office. And now, detention and intimidation of opposition MPs.
Where are Brussels’ defenders of democracy now?
