Announcement comes two weekends ahead of the Philadelphia Wings' potentially last-ever home game on April 11 at 7pm, giving fans a heads up to pack the arena for what could be one big final send off vs. Las Vegas. Statement from a Comcast Spectacor spokesperson:

Some quick thoughts re: Comcast selling the Wings. The issue is the Wings literally never attempted to put together a good team. Ticket sales were always the main priority. Banking on drafting college and local field players to attract enough kids to want to go to the games.

I’ll say it again for the children in the back. If you can’t fire it up at 8am for a GOLD MEDAL GAME between USA and Canada, then you don’t have a pulse and you don’t deserve to watch the game anyway Give your balls a tug. This game could be at 1am for all anyone should care

Somebody blew it big time by scheduling the men’s hockey gold medal game for 8 a.m. ET Sunday. That just can’t happen. You know it’s going to be U.S.-Canada. European time zones don’t matter. They should’ve worked the entire Olympics schedule around giving it a better slot.

The Rylan Hartley & Steph Charbonneau incident in Week 10 could be a turning point in league history. @stamper gives a thorough and eloquent breakdown of how things unfolded and what should be done about hits like this. This is a must-read on @Inside_Lacrosse insidelacrosse.com/article/s…

I’ve been thinking. They should just build domes. And put boards inside them. Make it 5 guys against 5 guys. And you can fight. And make sure everyone knows in practice you don’t shoot if your teammate is in the way. Onto something I think

We need to move the season up. Makes no sense to start in late January. Start Christmas Day and play through Easter it’s the only way

First of all how does that get called a goal to begin with. Second of all how does that review take that long?
