We provided lighting once officers were with the missing person, then we were re-tasked to assist @swpolice in #Llantrisant with a HR missing person.
<3 minutes of being on scene we located the missing person.
Person taken to hospital for treatment.

THEY DID IT 🎉👏🍾🥳 We’re SUPER PROUD of our incredible @Base2Base2023 cyclists Phil, Anna and Mike from @NPASNorthWest Barton base. Cycling over 800 miles to every NPAS base, raising £5k+ for a colleague’s cancer treatment. Just incredible endurance, team work and compassion.

NPAS Bournemouth to NPAS Exeter. By far the hardest day yet with intense heat and the steepest climbs yet, one after another after another.
Gruelling but we still have the cause at the forefront of our minds and the target in sight.

Day 7 - Setting off from NPAS Bournemouth this morning. Another kilo of sudocrem applied ans they're off for a 86 mile ride to NPAS Exeter.

Day 6 - 105 miles planned today with some long and steep climbs and 32 degree weather forecasted.
5am wake up, a lot of voterol, painkillers and sudocrem and we were met by an unreal sunrise at NPAS RedHill! Riders left at 7am to take on today's challenge!
Got to see @Base2Base2023 team arrive at NPAS Carr Gate, Wakefield, after a 115 mile cycle ride from NPAS Newcastle. Tomorrow another 100+ mile to NPAS Barton/Hawarden. Amazing physical and mental strength to support a colleague with stage 4 cancer 👏 justgiving.com/crowdfunding/…

NPAS 44 assisted @gwentpolice this evening with an operation in Newport resulting in a number of arrests and an illegal motorcycle seized, whilst at the same time, NPAS 47 assisted them by locating a missing person near Abergavenny, landing and walking her to safety #OneTeam
Had the privilege of writing about this organisation a couple of years ago. Best thing about my job is getting to hear from such diverse people doing such different things. Love how this group brings people together. We all need #community
