Industrialisation remains the most realistic way of leveraging our large population and resources to create wealth/jobs at scale, and reduce poverty.
Not agriculture. Not finance. Not software. Not AI.
Manufacturing and industrialisation!
If we cannot build industries that convert our resources into useful products, everything else, is at best a temporary remedy.

When researchers analyzed how Pegasus spyware infected iPhones without the user tapping anything, they found something wild. The attackers sent an iMessage with a fake GIF that targeted Apple's image decompression engine. The decompression math was so flexible that the exploit chained arithmetic operations together to construct a literal, functioning software CPU using over 70,000 segment commands that defined logical bit operations (AND, OR, XOR, XNOR, etc.) entirely inside the image parser. This created a small computer architecture with registers, a full 64-bit adder, and a comparator, running raw code before the phone even buzzed with a notification

Attackers can drain wallets by abusing a signing service, even without stealing private keys. Our 4-step post-Binance hack guidance helps wallet teams test what their signing systems can authorize and what limits the damage if signing is compromised.

A major Nigerian fintech lost a little over ₦3.5 billion to cybercriminals this week, people familiar with the attack tell me. Another lost ₦1 billion.
My sources say neither attack was reported to Nigeria’s data protection regulator.

The bug is like a joke.
On Alpine Linux, type 257 to 1024 characters of anything and you get root. 💀
‼️ BREAKING: OpenSSH has rushed out a fix for a critical flaw that lets attackers log into some Linux servers without the right password.
The team learned of the bug a day earlier. OpenSSH's Damien Miller says long embargoes now mostly help attackers, because AI agents rediscover bugs, sometimes within hours.
It hits Linux systems on the musl C library with PAM off, such as Alpine Linux. Miller told admins to disable password logins or SSH itself "IMMEDIATELY".
Version 10.6p2 works around it. Systems on glibc or PAM are not affected, and Miller says the root cause sits outside OpenSSH.

don't necessarily like to see aggressive new longs after a drop like that.
gives the market another reason to drop further and stop them out

‼️ Attackers are scanning the whole internet for Linux servers exposed to a critical 9.8 kernel flaw, Marcus Hutchins says.
They found 2.1M servers that accept it.
Ubuntu still has no patch.
The bug, CVE-2026-98432, is a race condition in the code that handles incoming IPv4 TCP connections. It can let a remote attacker run commands as root during the handshake.
Any system that allows “everyone” get in, especially the whales, then there’s usually very little edge left
If the big money guys, who you hope will be buyers of a token, are already able to get in pre-TGE then who is left to buy said token?
Papertrade was getting shilled as the most innovative tek since Bitcoin but it was just the same whales calling you to submit your capital as yield for their staked illiquid tokens.
Replying to @_Essssie
Everyone is incentivized to shill it to you in whatever way possible because they have paper staked and you’re the yield.

No one is a better teacher than your own experiences
Knowing when to be active and when to watch the markets from the sidelines is an underrated skill and these are the exact times to back this theory
No point forcing trades right now while it’s chopping both sides. Save your powder for better market conditions, won’t be long till we get them

ok safe to say binance is pwned
The biggest assets were approximately:
• 1.615B USDT
• 62.6M RLUSD
• 29,934 wBETH
• 11,372 XAUt
• 6.19M UNI
• 198.4M ENA
• 7.175T PEPE
• 27.8M USD1
• 2.26M LINK
• 127,853 AAVE
about $2.5B at the explorer’s prices.
1. The attacker deployed a delegate contract, 0x63e842b0...73e9c6fAe, from the relayer at 15:59 UTC.
2. About four hours later, the relayer submitted an EIP-7702 authorization transaction
That installed the malicious 7702 delegate code on Binance 14.
3. The relayer then made a call to Binance 14, executing the delegate code, and transferring Binance 14’s ETH and token balances.
4. The calldata is labeled sweep(address, address[]). The second argument is a list of recognizable token-contract addresses plus the zero-address (eth).
5. The same relayer later used the same delegate to move 780M USDC from Binance Hot Wallet 34 into the same pool
• The relayer 0x7C... was funded by three Tornado Cash 0.1 ETH withdrawals over the prior two days.
• The same pool also received 28,005.6 ETH from Binance 16 24 seconds after the main sweep.
• The pool then forwarded 195,460 ETH to a fresh, unlabeled EOA
• That EOA has only one transaction and currently holds the 195,460 ETH.
What's a bit unclear is why the relayer was needed in the first place. If they had the private keys to the Binance wallets, they could have just sent the assets out in an atomic bundle without needing a relayer at all.
So it seems likely that they didn't have the private keys and instead just had the 7702 auth signatures, which must have been phished somehow.
I think we can go ahead and assume DPRK.

Anthropic: The S-1 numbers
@AnthropicAI has filed to list on @Nasdaq under the ticker $ANT. Quarterly revenue is up 1,368% YoY to $11.6b, and the Jun-26 quarter was its first quarterly operating profit at $974m
1. The numbers
• Revenue: $376m in Mar-25 to $11.6b in Jun-26, with +144% QoQ in the latest quarter
• Margins: adjusted operating margin went from (221)% in Mar-25 to 19%
• Customers: >11,900 paying $100K+ a year, up from >950 a year earlier, and ~250 paying $10M+
• Retention: ~900% net revenue retention (excl. @claudeai Pro/Max). This means existing customers are spending roughly 9x more than a year ago
2. Some Thoughts
• Their growth seems quite concentrated since most of it is enterprise spend
• Profit is one quarter old. H1-26 overall was still a $693m operating loss
• Will $ANT IPO mark the end of the AI bull market soon?
