Start writing anything on X, any raw and random thought you have during the entire day. Years later, it's going to be so amazing re-reading all your tweets, and feeling so proud of the journey & how far you've come.
There is a squirrel right outside my house who is building a safe place for her family before it starts to snow. She is picking up a mouthful of fallen leaves from the ground, carrying it, and putting it somewhere at the top of a 15+ meter tree.
It is so amazing to watch this from my room window, when my AI agent runs in the background.
If I had to do everything myself, I鈥檇 have been staring at my laptop and missed this. I wouldn鈥檛 have noticed something this beautiful today.
Me 馃 AI
Ngl, I used to think creating content wasn鈥檛 a real job. Now I understand that it's an entire business
That鈥檚 why I鈥檓 here even on a Saturday!
Unpopular opinion: AI didn鈥檛 kill your creativity. You never had any. Now it鈥檚 just obvious, and you have something to blame.
Me: fix this one bug
AI: fixed the bug
AI: also rewrote the login page
AI: also renamed every variable
Me: I asked for one thing
AI: You鈥檙e absolutely right!
Why does every AI button use the same sparkle icon?
Your dating app
Your notes app
Your email app
Your docs app
Nobody knows what the AI does there, but they just know it sparkles and magic happens!
Unpopular opinion: If you are reading self-help books to become more disciplined and motivated, throw them away right now. Build discipline by creating content daily. It will make you unstoppable and change your mindset.
Level 1: Memorizing what you are taught
Level 2: Learning a marketable skill
God Level: Building things you actually care about in public until your work attracts its own opportunities
Which one are you?
Anyone on the internet who says they just enjoy writing and don't care if anyone reads it is lying.
If that were true, they'd keep a journal instead of posting online.
Everyone who writes online wants to be read.
I sometimes wonder what my younger self would think of me now. She鈥檇 be surprised by some of the things I鈥檝e done, and disappointed by a few I haven鈥檛. I think she鈥檇 be relieved to know we made it through the hard bits. Although she鈥檇 be horrified by how much I love an early night.
I sometimes worry that my interests are too scattered. But they keep meeting inside the same projects.
Building gives me something to write about. Writing helps me understand what I built. AI helps me attempt things I would otherwise put off.
The more I make, the less scattered my interests feel.

You said this would be your year and you still have 59 days left to do it.
(That's a lot of days)
59 days to take one step that will get bigger and bigger over time. 59 days to act a little more like the person you want to become. 59 days to pause and choose your response. 59 days to redirect your attention. 59 days to speak to yourself more kindly. 59 chances to wake up and try again

You need to be FRICTIONMAXXING.
Spend an hour making someone a playlist. Find the perfect songs and burn them onto a CD. Write letters by hand. Cook meals from scratch. Do things that take time.
Slow down and stop trying to make everything effortless.
Sometimes, the effort is what makes something meaningful.
I love people who still have interests they鈥檙e not trying to do anything with. They read about birds. Or spend six months learning how to make really good pizza. Maybe they know way too much about old trains or local history. And there鈥檚 no business plan at the end of it. They just like the thing.
