Clever code requires a high skill level to write, an equally high skill level to read, and an even higher skill level to debug. Embrace dumb code.

I @-ed them Tuesday. teapawt.net/the_chrismo/status/155… - it's taken until today to even get a decent response to support tickets, but even then, no details. They should roll this back, or allow it to be turned off on some databases.

@heroku @herokustatus what's the intended migration plan for extensions like citext used by columns. Your article suggesting we DROP and CREATE the extension won't work, AFAICT. devcenter.heroku.com/changel…

Attorney General Porras’s corrupt acts undermine democracy in Guatemala. Today’s designation sends a strong signal that the U.S. stands with all Guatemalans to encourage accountability, transparency, and respect for the rule of law.

I've been waiting for my Pixel 6 to arrive for 10 days now. @Fedex will simply read what's on the website, @madebygoogle says they are "working on it". By now I would expect either a new device to be expedited or for them to honor the pre-order offer for me to place a new one.
Fedex.com tracking information screenshot. It shows "Updated delivery: Pending" and "Initially expected: Thursday, 10/28/2021"

I've contacted @Fedex multiple times, they said that a case was initiated and that the rep assign to it will contact me, they haven't.

This is not an isolated issue, it's easy to find multiple other accounts in here or Reddit. I'm only complaining publicly after giving the @Google and @Fedex 10 days to resolve this. Unacceptable. Do better!

#TIL: Windows + I opens Settings. I have Powertoys Shortcut Guide enabled, so I should have known, but learning is always good. Long press the Windows Key for the shortcut guide:

This is long overdue, but better late than never! strftime.net/ is so helpful! I appreciate its famous cousin strftime.org/, but the live preview makes it much better for me! Thanks @jakeonrails
