For years, they mocked Cardano for moving too slowly. They ridiculed Charles Hoskinson for insisting on rigorous research, formal methods, and security-first engineering.
But here's something the crypto industry desperately needs to understand:
Speed means nothing if everything you've built can be compromised overnight.
Every exploit, every compromised wallet, and every catastrophic security failure reminds us that innovation without discipline comes at a terrible price.
Cardano was never supposed to win a race to the finish line. It was built to endure.
And Midnight carries that philosophy forward, bringing privacy, selective disclosure, and security-conscious architecture into an increasingly dangerous digital world.
Neither is immune to vulnerabilities. No system is. But designing for security from the beginning is fundamentally different from treating it as an afterthought.
The future of blockchain won't belong simply to whoever builds the fastest. It will belong to those who earn and preserve trust.
That is why I believe in Cardano and Midnight.
The world doesn't need another blockchain that promises everything.
It needs infrastructure it can depend on.

CT spent years clowning Charles and Cardano for obsessing over formal verification.
Now look at all these crypto hacks and the latest Binance drama 💀
Makes you wonder how safe $NIGHT really is.
Turns out building Cardano and Midnight with security in mind from day one might actually matter.

You’ve done a remarkable job, Spencer, throughout your campaign and beyond. That you continued the fight to expose the corruption of the left, even as you were a victim of that very corruption yourself, showed extraordinary strength of character. We Angelenos thank you and admire you.
As we draw closer and closer to Election Day, I'm noticing people become increasingly more possessed, like demons. Normally respectable people are losing their composure and their dignity because they can't handle the stress.
Jesus has the wheel, folks. Get comfortable with uncertainty. Trust me, you can handle whatever comes next. Just vote your principles, destroy commies til your last dying breath, and we'll see what happens. You're not in control, nobody has a magic bullet, and you can't tweet your way into Paradise.
You will adapt and overcome whatever happens. I promise.
Cool ❤️
Robert and I are thrilled that our gift of over 2 million shares of SpaceX stock will be distributed to children’s Trump accounts in December!
Our initial gift (shares transferring to escrow as we speak) will go to 11 to 17-year-olds who live in zip codes with median family income (MFI) of $57,000 or less, and to those who live in zip codes with too few residents for an MFI to be reported in the census. These families should receive a notice by Monday.
In a few weeks, an additional gift will be finalized for eligible 11 to 17-year-old children in military families serving overseas, children in foster care, and more children whose MFI is $90,000 or less living in counties near our home in the great state of Texas.
Thank you to the incredible team @SpaceX, @Treasury, @IRS, @DellFdn, @GreaterHorizons, @InvestAmerica24, and the legal firms of Morgan Lewis and Gibson Dunn for working over the past few months to make this happen.
We are deeply grateful for the groundbreaking work that Brad Gerstner @altcap and @MichaelDell have done for the long-term financial security for millions of kids.
God Bless America!

The answer isn’t getting the right person into power.
The answer is limiting power so that the person doesn’t matter.

"Bitcoin isn't safe. Look at the Binance hack."
Let me translate that for you.
"Someone robbed the jewelry store, so gold is a scam."
Bitcoin wasn't hacked.
The protocol didn't blink.
An exchange got caught holding everyone's keys in one shoebox.
That's not a Bitcoin problem.
That's a custody problem with a company.
Hold your own keys.
Or keep lining up at the jewelry store.

Name one? How about a few?
Rockefeller lowered the cost of kerosene through efficient refining and distribution.
Ford made automobiles affordable through mass production.
Carnegie reduced steel production costs through industrial innovation.
Walton lowered retail prices through bulk purchasing and efficient logistics.
Dell made computers cheaper by eliminating retail intermediaries.
Kamprad made furniture affordable through flat-pack manufacturing and distribution.
Bezos intensified retail competition through Amazon.
Koum made international messaging practically free through WhatsApp.
Page and Brin made search, navigation, email, and translation available without direct charges.
And that's barely scratching the surface.
In fact, it would be considerably more challenging to find a billionaire who earned their fortune through voluntary trade without lowering costs, improving quality, increasing productivity, or making something more accessible.
That's how fortunes are generally made in competitive markets. You create value for others, and the more people you serve, the greater your potential reward.
You don't even have to buy from these businesses to benefit. Their competitors must improve their offerings or risk losing customers.
These clout chasers destroy their credibility daily without so much as flinching.
They enjoy the accumulated benefits of capitalist innovation while confidently demanding evidence that any of it ever happened.
The economic illiteracy would be impressive if it weren't so commonplace.

Cardano and Midnight have it right
From today’s Binance hack, no $ADA or $NIGHT tokens were stolen.
And for a good reason:
- The attackers compromised a hot wallet key and an internal signing service, the same class of breach that has drained other exchanges before. But the ADA and NIGHT balances were not sitting in a simple account style hot wallet. They were held in a Cardano multi signature script (eUTxO) that required an additional on chain authorization from a separate, air gapped key controlled by a different team, plus a timelock that only released after a short challenge window.
- Midnight’s privacy layer added a second practical obstacle: the precise amounts and destination addresses were shielded with zk proofs. The attackers could see that “some” assets existed, but they could not confirm exact balances or craft a clean withdrawal transaction without generating valid selective disclosure proofs they did not possess. By the time they realized the funds were not freely spendable under the compromised key, the internal response team had already rotated the remaining signers and frozen the script.
- The only assets that left the platform were tokens that relied purely on centralized hot wallet controls. ADA and NIGHT stayed put because their movement was gated by on chain script conditions and privacy constraints that the stolen credentials alone could not satisfy.
In short: the keys were compromised, the script conditions and zk requirements were not.

Absolutely
I really don't know which lunatic decided that a White kid born in 2005 owes the world an apology for something that happened 300 years ago
Slavery wasn't some White invention. Every civilization did it. Africans sold other Africans. The Arab slave trade ran for over a thousand years and enslaved millions. Nobody talks about that
And guess who actually ended it? The West. Britain banned the trade and literally sent its navy out to hunt down slave ships. That part somehow never makes it into the lecture
Meanwhile, slavery still exists today in parts of Africa and the Middle East. Mauritania only made it a crime in 2007. You will never see the outrage or the protests... Nothing but silence
But in the West, people are told to feel guilty for being born. Criminals get excused because "the system made him do it." Repeat offenders get arrested again and again and walk right back out. The victim gets forgotten and the criminal gets treated like the victim
Seriously, how did it get this bad? The same civilization that built the modern world and ended slavery is now tearing itself apart and calling it morality
You have no reason to feel guilty for things that happened centuries ago. You don't even remember what you ate last week
This isn't compassion, it's insanity
This is literally civilizational suicide

Of all the dumb ideas that you see on X, probably the dumbest one is that Elon is not smart
That’s like saying Michael Jordan is not athletic
And then you get this ridiculous argument that Elon simply hires smart people, as if that’s never occurred to anybody else
The whole thing is a massive cope and a way to avoid considering that Elon might be right about other things

Socialists often mistake sanctimony for compassion.
Compassion is caring enough about others to voluntarily invest your own time, money, or effort in helping them.
Sanctimony is congratulating yourself for your moral superiority while demanding that others bear the costs.
There's no virtue in volunteering someone else's money, labor, or property to satisfy your moral ambitions, especially when you're willing to use force to obtain it.
You're claiming moral credit for investments you never made and calling those who refuse selfish.

Global warming does not make El Niño stronger. There has been no increase in the intensity or frequency of El Niño events since at least 1980. If anything, we have seen more La Niña. The AP is a propaganda rag.
Global warming is making the El Niño weather pattern stronger, and that’s prolonging a devastating drought across a region of Central America known as the Dry Corridor. Now so many crops have died that farmers are depending on supplies from the World Food Program, and the government of Honduras is trying a controversial climate-mitigation tactic known as cloud seeding.
