There is no sense in replying to people that continue to cry over the $ZK airdrop.
They continue to repeat the same crap every single time so there is no sense in replying.
Do yourself a favor & just move on. The @zksync team are not going to change anything now so better just move on however don't be surprised if future airdrops adopt what zksync has done.
So I hope most of you have LPs & not just push volume & txs with just $50 - $200 like most of your influencers tall you to do.

ZKsync never invited people to farm. It always strived to build a community of people who deeply care about the mission of ZK Credo and the incredible potential of the ZK tech.
Almost every blog post, twitter message, public statement of ZKsync focuses on the long-term mission, values and technology. Users were invited to join ZKsync to engage in organic activity, leveraging onchain opportunities and having fun. No rewards were ever promised for those activities.
We never called farmers "bots". We know that there many real people who feel hurt and disappointed. We understand why, and while this is not our fault, it makes us extremely unhappy. But this was bound to happen, because industrial farmers made it impossible to meet the expectations of everyone.
At the same time, it's also true that there is a massive misinformation campaign orchestrated by industrial sybils and their bots.

The high variability of the airdrop with 100x difference between the highest and lowest allocations is a deliberate choice.
Simple math:
3.675 billion ZK airdrop. Let's say we increase the number of eligible accounts to 1.5 million. Most of them will be smart industrial sybils, but let's ignore for now.
If we divide 3.675b equally between 1.5m, every organic user with just one account would have gotten 2450 ZK.
Most people would dump, forget, and move on to the next thing. No one would care.
Now, instead, tens of thousands of organic users received a very substantial allocation. For many of them it's creating life-chainging opportunities. Many will really, really, really care about the ZKsync. ZK is their new home now.
This is how a Nation is born.
A community of ZK Maxis. The ZK Diehards. The ZK Marines.
ZK is the endgame!

Why would any project on @zksync want to exit the ecosystem?
They have all performed well & I believe they will continue to perform well in the future.
Are you guys that desperate that you need to jump on the negativity band wagon to get some attention?

Thank you for all the feedback and discussions over the past few days.
In 2024, airdrops are extremely challenging. Sophisticated industrial farms operate millions of bots indistinguishable from real people in behavioral patterns. This renders traditional activity-based airdrops completely useless for building resilient and sustainable communities.
Our airdrop design is unconventional and has its imperfections. But we are proud of the path we’ve chosen and believe we made reasonable tradeoffs. We are rewarding hundreds of thousands of people, creating life-changing opportunities for many of them.
We also recognize that many people are upset, having received less than they expected. We don’t take this lightly. We spent several days and nights looking into reports and double-checking data, to understand the full picture and eliminate any possible mistakes.
We did not identify major issues, but we also recognize that our communication about the nuances of the airdrop design was not clear enough. To address this, we’ve crafted an initial set of FAQs to address your most burning questions.

We are preparing a more systematic way for the community to collect and prioritize feedback, and will do our best to answer the remaining questions in full transparency.
This is just the start of an exciting new phase. Dozens of ecosystem projects have committed to distributing their token allocations to the community (see 🧵 below), and nearly 50% of the total token supply is still reserved for the community overall.
Claiming starts June 17th. Stay tuned for more updates.

Instead of blaming others for not being eligible for their airdrops, consider studying their criteria and applying similar strategies to other projects.
You can continue to complain about the drop, but the criteria are clearly defined.

Meanwhile, something important you need to know.
There is is a massive, coordinated, Sybil misinformation campaign against ZKsync on X. Run by thousands of bots.

Basically, the way the zksync team found to fight sybils was by heavily prioritizing assets and LP.
More Era on-chain liquidity+More time being a LP = larger allocation.
Large bot farms are, on average, not whales, and they transact cyclically with not-so-large capital amounts.
Top allocation is stated as 100K in the docs, but that's not true (at least with current allocations). Wallet 0x521aacb43d89e1b8ffd64d9ef76b0a1074dedaf8 is eligible for 160,495 tokens, so there's an inconsistency there. There are 155 users (out of 690K) with more than 100K $ZK.
The "Usage-based Allocation" by points system is clever and similar to Arbitrum (which is generally regarded as a success) - the complaints I'm reading are regarding the barrier to the capital amount.
Every address that qualified for at least one point was assigned an amount of $ZK tokens based on its liquidity bridged to ZKsync Era. If less than 450 tokens, then not eligible. This is what excluded shrimps and the cornerstone of people not being eligible.
Also, using just Era for the liquidity considerations probably also excluded many OG users that transacted in Lite back then. They leaned toward Era in favour of Lite.
Of cour,se multipliers and boosts (see steps 2 and 3 of the blog post) also impacted allocation, but the base calc was done taking liquidity as the base layer.
I doubt any changes will be made at this point. Remember the Arbitrum controversy with AIP-1?
As always, and same as with every airdrop launch, most people are unhappy.

There is a lot of anger against @zksync airdrop.
I get it. I also am confused why some wallets that did satisfy their criteria did not get in.
But friends ... relax. No airdrop is perfect. It's their token, their rules. They owe you nothing.
Be a bit less entitled ...

Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t everyone have the same chance to land at least 50K $ZK?
Everyone coming up with their “Arbitrum Airdrop Style” checkers and act surprised…
It’s simple some people were prepared better for all possible outcomes and some weren’t. Live with it.
And then there’s ppl like @Caneleo55 @Yogi13031997 pushing their agenda to try getting @TheZKNation bending down to their will to reward all their own ineligible or small allocated wallets.
Criteria is great! Don’t bend down.
