There are some appalling people where I live. Just saw a middle-aged, middle-class woman in Waitrose tear into a bag of pre-packed carrots with her car key to select 3 carrots, even though there were dozens of single carrots in the next crate along.

It baffles me being charged extra for a milk alternative with my coffee in some of these chains, simply because I don’t want to support the cruelty and exploitation of cows. Who’s in the wrong here? Yet I literally have to pay the price.
