Dentist/professor who used gross medieval caricatures of Jews in the PPTs he taught at the U of Toronto was demoted from being dean but paid in full; no real punishment.
A professor at the U of Guelph who objected to a fellow professor - me - repeatedly engaging in Hitlerite descriptions of Jews was left completely untouched, while I - who complained about it was fired for “reprisal?”
Welcome to Canadian academia, where supporting Jews is now a crime. No paywall. All documents attached.

Breaking: I've uncovered an apparently unreported 2012 Al Jazeera article coauthored by Abdul El-Sayed that praises the Muslim Brotherhood's electoral success in Egypt and portrays the Islamist movement in remarkably flattering terms.
At the time, the Brotherhood-led bloc had just won approximately 47% of Egypt's parliamentary seats, while the ultraconservative Salafist Al-Nour bloc secured another 24%.
Together, Islamist parties controlled roughly 71% of the elected seats.
Yet El-Sayed and his coauthor (a Harvard scholar, because of course) enthusiastically described Egypt's political transformation as looking "more promising than ever."
They also argued that the Islamist parties' electoral successes reflected their domestic platforms and "histories of social justice" more than popular support for their Islamic ideologies.
El-Sayed wasn't merely celebrating the overthrow of Hosni Mubarak. He was expressing optimism about Egypt's political future AFTER the Muslim Brotherhood and Salafists had overwhelmingly won the parliamentary elections.

U of T's dentistry dean taught with antisemitic cartoons for years. His penalty: a training course, tenure intact.
I answered a man calling for Israel's eradication. My penalty: fired — for "reprisal."

Listen to my brother Larry.
So the University of Toronto wants us to believe the dean of dentistry had "limited knowledge" of antisemitic imagery and theories to go with. Come on.
The same lecture, with the same images, had been given to second-year students for several years as noted by the Jewish Medical Dental Association of Ontario as reported by CTV. That's not a slip. He picked those cartoons, put them in his slides, and kept using them year after year. One of them was a beak-nosed caricature sitting in a tub of money, which is about as old and recognizable as this hatred gets. So I'd like someone to tell me what, exactly, Dr. Kishen thought he was looking at. What did he think that image depicted? What "visual analogy" was he drawing? The provost's letter never says. It just asks us to take "limited knowledge" on faith, and I won't.
And who gave him this antisemitism training? The letter says he "has undergone training" and "learned a great deal." Learned from whom? How long was it? Who vouched for it? Without that, it's PR dressed up as accountability.
Then there's the line that he'll "remain a tenured faculty member" and be back to full duties in 2027-28. Who cares that he's tenured? Tenure exists to protect academic freedom, not to shield a man who put classic Jew-hatred in front of students, Jewish students among them, calling it a learning experience. He should be terminated. The university's own letter admits the slides contain antisemitic imagery and that the Faculty is deeply divided over it. Giving him a quiet year off and a comeback is not a consequence. A resignation from a job he already stepped away from in February isn't a sanction either.
Let's not call this a win against antisemitism. It's a university protecting its own. Jewish groups, the Jewish dental community included, shouldn't thank anyone for this. They should demand his removal from the institution entirely, and accept nothing less.
And here's what should concern everyone, not just Jews. If this is the standard, a few training sessions, a "limited knowledge" excuse, and a comeback after a year off, then that's the standard for everyone. Any other religion or culture that finds itself targeted by a faculty member at U of T shouldn't expect anything more than this. No firing, no real consequences, just a letter about "learning" and "healing." The university has now shown exactly how far it will go, and that's the bar it has set for every community on campus.

Cyprus has begun forcibly returning Syrian nationals whose asylum applications were definitively rejected, becoming one of the few European Union countries carrying out compulsory returns to Syria.
Deputy Migration Minister Nicholas Ioannides confirmed on November 3 that the first deportations had taken place in cooperation with Cypriot police and other government agencies.
More than 5,000 Syrian asylum applications have been rejected since December 2024, while approximately 6,000 Syrians have already returned voluntarily and another 6,000 have expressed their intention to leave.
Cypriot authorities are also accelerating the rejection of unfounded asylum applications and withdrawing subsidiary protection from individuals who no longer qualify.
The government previously introduced financial incentives for voluntary returns, including €2,000 per adult and €1,000 per child under a program launched in 2025.
Ioannides announced that inspections targeting illegal residence and undeclared employment will intensify in the coming months, with employers and landlords urged to cooperate with authorities.

70,000 people died in Gaza during the war. According to Hamas itself, 50,000 of them were Hamas fighters. And of the 20,000 “children” killed, 80% were male combatants aged 16-18.
The Gaza “genocide” is the biggest hoax of the 21st century.

The Diplomat on Netflix has honored American-Israeli Hersh Goldberg-Polin and his heroic friend, Aner Shapira, who were both murdered by Hamas.
In Season 4, Episode 6, viewers discovered a hidden tribute.
In the episode, Frances Munning (the British housekeeper at the U.S. Ambassador’s residence in London) is talking to Stuart Heyford, a top aide. She explains why she has always had a soft spot for Americans, sharing a story about a World War II soldier who saved her father's life.
According to Frances, her father was serving alongside an American soldier named Hershel Polin in Belgium. When a live grenade landed at her father's feet, Hershel Polin immediately grabbed it and threw it away, saving her father but losing his own arm in the explosion. Frances also notes that this soldier hailed from Richmond, Virginia.
While framed as a 1940s war story, the details are an unmistakable match to what happened on October 7, 2023:
The fictional soldier is named "Hershel Polin" from Richmond, Virginia—which is exactly where the real Hersh Goldberg-Polin lived as a young child before his family immigrated to Israel.
The detail of throwing back live grenades is a direct salute to Hersh's best friend, Aner Shapira.
During the Hamas attack on the Nova music festival, Hersh, Aner, and dozens of others packed into a small roadside bomb shelter. Aner, an off-duty IDF soldier, stood at the entrance and incredibly caught and threw back seven live grenades that terrorists tossed inside. He was killed by the eighth grenade.
One of the grenades that exploded in the shelter blew off the lower half of Hersh Goldberg-Polin's arm. He was subsequently taken hostage into Gaza, where he was murdered in August 2024.
Hersh’s mother, Rachel Goldberg-Polin, noted that while her family doesn't watch television, many people reached out to let them know about the episode.
She shared how deeply meaningful the gesture was, stating: "It’s striking to know there are many people around the world trying to ensure the stories of the hostages are not whitewashed or erased."

🚨EXPOSED: Hamas top commander Deif disappeared from radar hours before Oct. 7. Israel still did not prepare for war.
Israeli censorship authorities have cleared for publication additional warning signs identified by Israeli security forces on the night before Oct. 7, 2023, which still failed to convince decision-makers to prepare for an attack.
During the night of Oct. 6-7, a significant indicator emerged: Hamas military chief Mohammed Deif had disappeared from radar and could no longer be located.
Later that same night, it emerged that Deif had activated an emergency facility and was staying there.
The IDF says it was not certain that the individual identified entering the facility was Deif himself, and therefore did not strike.
The information reached the Southern Command chief, who concluded during a 3 a.m. assessment:
“Nukhba is in routine. This is still not a launch into war.”
