My niece was seriously trying to explain how water "doesn't grow in Africa" and water grows here "because we have oranges, right? and they have water in them" ...what?! #whataretheyteachingthem

-sudden hysterical screaming LONG past bedtime -upon investigating find DH holding our 9yo while she screams & sobs in the hallway -more noise & shouts from her older sisters: "There it is! It's a moth!!" -"It TOUCHED me! I want it DEAD!!" #drama #mothsmustdiebutbutterfliesfly

At a family gathering, SIL is chatting with people while "playing" with her daughter who was being a hairdresser for SIL's "baby" (doll). Apparently, SIL wasn't engaged enough so my niece directs her, "Pretend you're talking. Now pretend you're done talking." #kidssayfunnystuff

overheard my kids: "3 against 3. Hah, majority wins!" ...the majority? #YouKeepUsingThatWord ...

scapula winging? so you're NOT supposed to hook your scapula over the back of a mid/low backed chair and find that to be a super comfortable position? great, now how do I fix this? #IsTheWorkWorthTryingToFixALifetimeOfPoorAlignmentChoices

Last Monday the kids and I rushed down to provide childcare to my sister's older kids as she went into the hospital to have her precious baby boy. We loved visiting with them for the week and helping her out, but it's also nice to sleep in my own bed. #BackToNormalLifeAgain

at a park meetup by a brook one of the preschoolers found a wallet in the water, examined it briefly, and then tossed it under a bush. My older daughter relayed this to me as she brought it to me. It had an out of state license so we dropped it at the police. Hope he gets it soon

convenient that we had a week off the same week I got lost in a new game, but too bad for my kids that their mom likes gaming and I'm apparently bad at sharing... #canIpleasehaveaturnnow

Just as you think things are starting to get worse, they do. 🤪

"Huh. Well there's another thing I need to put on my bucket list so that I can cross it off." #thingsyoudontexpecttosay

slowly organizing the surplus of crafting supplies my kiddos have. hopefully they stay organized this time... #orelseIwilljustthrowitallaway

back and forth to drop kids off all over creation (ok fine, all of them went to the same place, shut up), sitting in traffic, stuck by construction literally a quarter mile from home and they had the audacity to let the other side go twice in a row before I could finally go. ugh.

I need a better knife, I can't cut raw meat with any of the ones I own. Suggestions? #pleasedontbreakthebank

I reeeeally want to eat some junk food, but I also reeeeally want to fit my clothes. The question is, which do I want *more* #dontmakemechoose

starting to feel like I'm drowning in random clutter. I need to begin sorting...cue analysis paralysis as I assess the "best" starting spot #idratherbenapping

Spring break broke me...so much organizing and cleaning. At least I got to sleep in several times, next time I'm spring cleaning sooner zzzz #backtoreallife
