Great few days away at Spurn this time last weekend with @kev07713 @karenheath62 @hobbylovinglife @worlebirder - my first time there. Great birding and picked up eight lifers and over 100 species. Loved finishing each day watching owls.

Struck it lucky as I was preparing to leave the site today after 2 + hours of poor but reasonable binocular views. Then a WOW photo moment! CHESTNUT BUNTING at Baltasound, Unst. Thanks Brydon Thomason for finding this incredible bird, 2nd record for Britain.#rarebirds #shetland

There were apparently TWO Dusky Warblers in Blakeney Point plantation yesterday, but they are notorious skulkers and I found it more than troublesome enough to glimpse one!
