Despite $TSLA being up this week, Simplify’s $TESL is down over 15% after they loaded up on short dated Tesla calls before earnings.

See posts about a short squeeze coming on $GME however it looks to me like short interest is dropping?

I have unlimited Claude usage at my firm, been burning as many tokens as I can so they have cash to buy more compute, so the compute providers can buy more memory, so my memory stocks go up 🧠

Optiver was hands down the worst interview experience of my life. First round was with a recruiter. Second was with a trader, pretty light technical questions. I was already working at another market maker, so was interviewing as an "experienced trader." They told me the lateral-hire process would focus more on practical market-making questions, some theory, etc. Sounded reasonable. Then came round three. I sat down with this 6'8" Dutch guy who immediately started hammering me with math and coding questions. Linear optimization, ternary search, and a bunch of other shit I hadn't thought about since college. Just question after question some took like 5 minutes to explain and 25 minutes to solve. went on for probably an hour and a half. Felt so cooked I eventually told him I idfk dude. Not one market making question either, no coin flipping, fair sided die questions. brutal. Walked out of the interview and decided I never wanted to work in market making ever again

To elaborate, the recruiter reached out to me and asked me to interview. I wasn’t prepping for interviews at the time and I had assumed (perhaps wrongly) that “experienced hires” did not go through the same excruciating brain teasers

If you were wondering if there is any edge to trade 2x memory ETFs in overnight right now with all this volatility, there is not.
