It was all worth it. Every moment of pain. Every moment of sadness. Every moment of disappointment. Every single minute brought us here - to a championship. The New York Knicks are NBA champions. The KNICKS are NBA CHAMPIONS. And no one can ever take that away from us

For this possession, I watched the crowd reaction instead of the actual game. You can imagine my confusion when I saw/heard the entire lower bowl sigh and then subsequently let out the biggest crowd pop of all time. Turned to my Dad: “it went it???”
One of the loudest fan pops I’ve ever heard.

Hey, everyone. This season, I’ll be working for the Orioles as a Fellow in their Baseball Strategy and Operations department. A dream come true for me — couldn’t be more excited.

I want to thank anyone on this app who ever helped me. Whether that entailed a baseball philosophy question, or a coding problem, this app became my greatest resource. I learned more from reading/responding to tweets than I could ever imagine. This is a great community of people.

I lost faith in the basketball gods when the Mavs shamelessly tanked and were rewarded with Dereck Lively. I forgot that gods work in mysterious ways, and last night they worked through Nico Harrison. Karma finally arrived.
I’m not seeing many scenarios where this isn’t utter malpractice by Nico Harrison.

If you think Knicks fans who are complaining about the minutes issues are cool with winning 44-47 games, you’re not listening. We’re not asking for 20 minutes of Landry shamet. We’re asking for 10.
We’re back to the minutes debate. I’m sick of it after four seasons covering Tom Thibodeau. But we’re back here, predictably, because Thibs is Thibs and his roster this season is so top heavy it could tip with a strong enough injury wind. Perhaps this analogy I’ve picked up about Thibodeau describes the situation best: If you give him a life raft to a basketball victory, he’ll use it. If you give him a life raft that’s veering away from victory for the sake of safety, he’s jumping off the other side of the boat without a preserver and probably hollering at a referee on the way down. That’s the Thibs Way, and frankly, fans should embrace it. Winning games, despite what you may have learned from the New York Giants’ retention decisions, is important in sports.
