A lot of people, especially on days like yesterday’s SCOTUS rulings, ask me about hope. Now is the time to stick together. Some thoughts from last night’s Q&A:

Overturning Roe and outlawing abortions will never make them go away. It only makes them more dangerous, especially for the poor + marginalized. People will die because of this decision. And we will never stop until abortion rights are restored in the United States of America.

I was really upset that homeless people did not have access to the $1,400 stimulus check. I just found this out. If you are homeless, you can go to a tax return office where they will file something called EIP return. They will put the money on a debit card after. Retweet.!

Meghan was the Crown's greatest opportunity for change, regeneration, and reconciliation in a new era. They didn't just maltreat her light--they missed out on it.

120 hours. That’s how long Brandon Bernard has left until the government takes his life for a crime he committed when he was just 18-years-old. For the next 120 hours, I challenge you to use your voice to save Brandon’s life. Here’s how:

The President of the United States shared a video in which people supporting him shouted “White Power!” And it has thousands of likes and retweets. This is America.

HE WAS MURDERED BY POLICE FOR WALKING HOME AT NIGHT FOR WEARING A MASK/HOODIE BECAUSE HE WAS ANEMIC & GOT COLD OFTEN. He played the violin for kittens at animal shelters. He meant well. He wasn’t a threat, rather another innocent black man killed by the police. #ElijahMcClain

Imagine someone u love is fast asleep in bed after a long day of working to help others. Imagine that while she is asleep armed strangers break down her door & shoot her in her bed 8 times. If this was ur daughter or sister, u would want justice. #BreonnaTalyor deserves the same.

Even the statement, “Let’s invite more Black people to the table,” implies ownership of the table and control of who is invited. Racism is about power.

All lives don’t get hung from trees in 2020, and have it ruled a suicide. Think about that next time you want to spew “All Lives Matter” from your mouth.

Discussing and protesting racism isn't divisive. You know what's divisive, dehumanizing and deadly? Racism.
