LFA Awards: Honouring Our Fallen Football Heroes. When we started the LFA Awards three years ago, the goal was simple: **to make everyone involved in football feel appreciated and valued.** As we continue to recognise and motivate the people who contribute to Uganda’s beautiful game, we have witnessed something truly amazing and worth celebrating—the way some of our clubs are sending off their fallen colleagues and heroes. A special mention goes to **SC Villa and SC Vipers** for the dignity, respect and humanity they have demonstrated during these difficult moments. These may seem like simple gestures, but in times of grief, they mean so much to families, teammates, fans and the entire football community. These are exactly the values we have always advocated for. They remind us that football is not only about winning trophies or scoring goals—it is also about **community, humanity, brotherhood and caring for one another.** These gestures can inspire the next generation to love and embrace this beautiful game. After all, who wouldn't want to see their loved one honoured and sent off with such dignity? We therefore encourage other football stakeholders, including clubs, fans, administrators and players, to emulate this spirit and honour our fallen colleagues whenever tragedy strikes. Thank you, SC Villa and SC Vipers, for honouring our fallen heroes in such a dignified and humane manner.** May all our fallen heroes across every sector of Ugandan football **rest in eternal peace. 🕊️⚽** How does your club send off its fallen heroes?** Share your experiences with us. Let us celebrate the humanity that makes football more than just a game. #LFAAwards #UgandaFootball #UgandanFootball #SCVilla #SCVipers #FootballFamily #HonourOurHeroes #RestInPeace #FootballForLife #FootballCommunity
