Absolutely brilliant. This isn’t just a stadium. It’s a statement that soccer in Maine is here to stay. Let’s make it one of the best atmospheres in the country. #UTFH
A new home for the Soccer Club of Maine 🏟️
We’re thrilled to announce we have entered into an agreement to acquire land at Cassidy Point in Portland, where the club plans to build a 9,000–11,000 seat soccer-specific stadium that will serve as a permanent home for the club's men's and women's teams.

“Balogun should decline to play”
Balogun should decline to play; I think that's the best decision at this point. I'd be pleasantly surprised if that's what comes to pass, but hope springs eternal. Infantino must be removed &/or participating nations should reject FIFA's authority & create a new world soccer governing body. FIFA begs to be neutralized once and for all; it's unreformable.

FIFA is a just, judicious and highly reputable institution that does a brilliant job of stewarding the game that we love in an honest and upstanding manner, I’ve always said this

I just text Peter Crouch to tell him the Azteca is so high that he is able to walk underneath it without ducking. He said Thanks James, jokes about my height never get old. I replied saying Yes, I know.

Shout out FIFA. I think we can all agree FIFA is a great organization that always does the right thing and in no way is this about it directly benefiting USMNT
BREAKING @TheAthleticFC
Folarin Balogun will be available to play the USMNT’s round of 16 match against Belgium with his one-game red-card ban suspended. Extraordinary development.
