💪 We were all very proud to see Canes players James McCarthy, Pete Johnston (both Ireland), Lee Sargent and Andrew Higgins (both Wales) singing their hearts out for their respective countries as the 2026 Rugby League Wheelchair World Cup got underway in Wollongong!
📝 Ireland made short work of the USA with a 110-10 win (in which Johnston scored and nailed numerous conversions), whilst Wales ultimately had a difficult afternoon as the reigning Champions England put them to the sword in a game that finished 98-18.
👀 It only gets better as all four Canes players could face each other on Tuesday as Ireland and Wales lock horns!
