Who could the Eagles beat right now? Honestly. Maybe Miami? The Chargers are a mess but I still wouldn’t pick the Eagles against them.
The Eagles defense basically quit before this game even started. They’ve played (and been coached) all night like they couldn’t care less.
Dak Prescott could just stand in the pocket for 20 minutes if he wanted to. The Eagles still wouldn’t be able to get near him.
Seriously, the Eagles defense is way more disappointing than the offense. Nobody thought the offense was going to be anything special, even with Hurts. Fangio’s defense is supposed to be great and they’ve been awful more often than not.
How many times this season have the Eagles defensive line not been pushed backwards? They have gotten shoved around by every offensive line they’ve played.
Can someone tell Vic Fangio that his defense does t need to play 5-yards off every offensive player? That you don’t have to let running backs go 5 yards before you touch them and don’t have to give receivers a 5-yard cushion to catch the ball?
Can Jake Elliott not reach the end zone on his kickoffs? If your team can’t cover kicks, Mr. Sirianni, maybe stop kicking it right to the returner.
Did ESPN’s Russel Yurk really just say that the NFL typically doesn’t want grabbing the facemask called?
Anyone who wants to know why the Eagles don’t play Cooper DeJean at outside corner just needs to watch him try to stay with CeeDee Lamb.
Again, how does the offensive injuries equate to the Eagles vaunted defense getting pushed all over the place against their will and missing 7 tackles on every play?
Disney/ESPN could make some extra cash by offering a pay-per-view feed of the booth when Troy Aikman and Joe Buck are off-air.
It is telling that any Philadelphia fan who was old enough to watch the last time the Sixers won a championship never forgets how awesome Andrew Toney was during his way-too-short career.
