When people hurt you as they often do, don't take that hurt and confide in others. Use it to get closer to the Almighty. Confide in Him. Let Him heal you and deal with them.

People will speculate, they’ll think the worst of you, they’ll judge, assume, gossip and backbite. When told the truth, most won’t even bother to correct themselves. Such is the state of humankind today. Protect yourself. Stay away from such sinful acts.

As a generation, we all had a strong attachment and connection towards King Oyo; part of it driven from his story and/or his age, he became 'our King' regardless of tribe. His sudden death and the drama after will continue to hurt us all.
May our good God heal the broken souls of the family, friends, people of Tooro and all of 'us' who loved, watched, supported and cared for the king from a distance.
Rest in Peace ❤️

But why do some people find the need to compare Joshua Baraka's growth to other artists? Every one has their timing and it's okay to celebrate them without putting them against each other.

Somebody needed 10k to go through today, theres you with 100k but complaining and another legend with 10M but its not enough.., this life no balance.

Yes, Joshua Baraka has collaborations with people all over the world,but he has not even reached a quarter of where Eddy Kenzo was during his prime. Stop comparing artists out of excitement

THE COPYRIGHT LAW;
The beauty about a bill turning into a law is wether you have understood it or not it can protect you the same way it can leave you vulnerable, many people are taking so much Joy in knowing law terminology than the actual artists like it’s a scoreboard, The reality is actually beautiful
10 years ago, no one was talking about copyright, 5 years ago it was just noise , not once was there a proper artist leadership trying to get government to listen more keenly
2 years ago they told us we are a joke after the formation of the Federation , today parliament passed the bill awaiting the presidents sign off.
There’s a pattern here fellow artists, it doesn’t matter what we accomplish together, they will not stop trying to put us down, now it’s our English is embarrassing,
OUR TODAY IS 10 TIMES BETTER THAN IT WAS 10 YEARS AGO
The rest is background noise, keep learning, stick together and let’s fight for our business ✊🏼
